the first thing we need to do in our project is load in our sample file and to do that, we're going to come over

here to the data panel. click on the icon that says show data panel

Fusion and has a number of project folders already here and at the bottom you'll find one

that says CAM samples. give that a double click to open that folder

and here we have another folder called tutorials.

click to enter that. here we can find our sample file called intro to 2d machining.

with our file open, if you look upon top here it says "read only". samples cannot be edited so we

need to save this under our own project, so that we can make changes to this file.

Fusion does create a first project folder for you, but we want to store this in a new project folder. so we'll

come up here and select new project. this creates a new folder.
