Transport Layer Security (TLS) Updates Required to Maya to Maintain Software Access

Autodesk Support

May 1, 2019

To align with industry best practices for security and data integrity, Autodesk Identity Services will move to Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 and stop supporting TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 on August 3, 2019. Action is required to update your software to maintain access to certain product functionality or features.

This applies to single user subscribers and impacts the versions of Maya listed below. More information on this TLS update and how it affects other Autodesk products is available.

To maintain connectivity, you will need to download and apply a patch (Windows), or download and install an update (on Mac OS) by August 3, 2019. On impacted Linux versions there is no patch required, but the minimum OS version supported is now RHEL 6.5/CentOS 6.5.
