About the speaker 

Andy Smith is the Head of Smart Water within the Water Business Stream at Anglian Water, which provides water and water recycling services to nearly seven million customers in the East of England. Over the past 35 years, he has worked both within the UK and on several overseas projects specializing in Non-Revenue Water (NRW) and network management. In addition, Smith is the distribution lead on the “Beacon Project”, a unique collaboration between Anglian Water and its alliance partners, WaterAid and the Nepal Water Supply Corporation (NWSC), that has the aim of supporting and enhancing clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene in the WASH sector and in Lahan, a fast-growing town in southeast Nepal.
