Design-and-make projects are complex. They generate tons of files and versions, which leaves Autodesk customers to build bespoke collaboration pipelines to share files that are costly to translate, transfer, and store. These files/versions need to be manually reconciled, which results in loss of time and money. On top of that, files present a threat to our customers' intellectual property since the entire design file needs to be shared with a contractor just to access the relevant subset that the contractor should work on. It's quite apparent that we need better design-make data management. Introducing Autodesk Data Models! By breaking up files into valuable bits of data stored and managed on the Autodesk Data platform, we provide YOU, our valued customer, with a source of truth that you can rely on to build better workflows to achieve your goals. In this panel discussion, we will talk about what Autodesk Data Models are, why they are important, and what value gets unlocked for each industry.
