- David JoslinDavid Joslin is the Applied Technology Manager and a Sr. VDC Manager at Gilbane Building Company. While there, David has been involved with many collaborative, MEP-intensive projects, where his ability to clearly communicate issues while driving at solutions using the collective team’s knowledge has been a recognized strength. His communication and team-oriented skill set is further bolstered by his experience with the software and the technology needed to run it. Because of that, he also began managing and improving the technology and infrastructure for his local VDC group, and then moved on to working to standardize the VDC infrastructure across the company. David is a registered Architect in Arizona.
- FANNY ANGELESDesigner and BIM expert with a Master's degree in Architecture from France. I specialize in BIM and its tools, with a goal of making BIM accessible to all stakeholders in the building industry. I have worked on international projects in France, Qatar, Japan, and the USA, including monasteries, public schools, factories, and residential and multifamily housing. I have also taught over 100 BIM and Revit seminars. My goal is to help the building industry efficiently adopt BIM and its tools to stay competitive with other industries.
- RYRobert YoriRobert leads AECOM's Urban Advisory Practice Digital Solutions Studio and the Global Design Technologies Center of Excellence. Both groups enhance outcomes through practice-oriented digital transformation, design computation, data-focused workflows, and digital design and development. Robert's industry experience spans the architecture, engineering, sustainability, design for manufacturing, business development, innovation incubators, and software development sectors. He serves on AIA New York's Future of Architectural Practice Committee, is Program Manager for DBEI's Design Technology Summit (DTS), is co-author of the Mastering Revit book series, and contributed to the AIA's "Architect's Guide to Building Performance."
- RSRyan ShultsRyan Shults is the VDC Manager, as well as a Project Manager, for Gilbane Building Company's Houston office. The VDC group specializes in utilizing technology to aid the construction process. Ryan uses numerous technologies and workflows, as well as his background in architecture to provide value on both the design and construction sides of projects. In his 11 years in the AEC industry, Ryan has worked on project types ranging from aviation to high rise commercial to K-12.
