- MMMark MergenschroerMark is currently the BIM Application Specialist and has 22 years of construction and engineering design experience. He has played a key role in the implementation of Revit for Bernhard TME. He is a former Revit MEP Gunslinger, Revit Alpha and Beta Tester, and has recently worked closely with the Autodesk BIM 360 Ops team. He acquired the nickname BIM Yoda in 2012. Mark is an adjunct professor at Arizona State University on the subject of Building Commissioning and Building Start-Up. He has also been involved in several ASU BIM Facility Management research projects and was a co-author of the BIM for Facilities Management chapter, in the book, Building Information Modeling: Applications and Practices. Mark has shared his MEP BIM knowledge at events such as Autodesk University, BIM Forum, BILT NA, AHSE, FIATECH, ASHRAE, Children’s Hospital Association Forum and to numerous Revit User Groups. Recently, Mark has been involved with the BIM Facility Services group at Bernhard TME. This group focused on new and improved ways for a Facility Manager to maintain the operations of a building for its lifecycle. Mark recently led the Successful implementation of BIM 360 Ops for the new Arkansas Children’s Northwest Hospital in Springdale, Arkansas. Outside of the office, he is best known for being Caleb’s dad. He has been heavily involved in the Arkansas Autism Community and Miracle League baseball.
