- Tom RichardsonThomas “Tom” Richardson is a CAD Manager and Associate at MWM DesignGroup in Austin, Texas. His duties include installation and implementation of software, training and documentation, supporting technicians and professionals in all departments, and engineering design work in AutoCAD Civil 3D, InfraWorks 360, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, and ESRI ArcMap. Tom is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas. He has over 25 years experience in the land surveying and civil engineering field in Austin, Texas and the surrounding area. Tom was one of the top AU 2020 speakers and has won awards for his participation in the Austin CADD User Group. In 2015 Tom was nominated and accepted to the Autodesk Expert Elite program. Tom has been certified as both an AutoCAD Certified Professional and an AutoCAD Civil 3D Certified Professional. As a technical editor for Sybex/Wiley, Tom's credits include Mastering AutoCAD Civil 3D and Autodesk InfraWorks and InfraWorks 360 Essentials.
- JSJuan SotoJuan Soto is a civil designer for Kimley-Horn in the Fort Worth, Texas, office. KH ranks in the top 31 of Engineering News-Record (ENR) top 500 design firms, and the company also ranked as one of the “100 Best Companies to Work for” by Fortune magazine. He has 20-plus years’ experience with both Autodesk, Inc., and Bentley products. His experience includes a variety of project types, including land development, aviation, industrial, highway, and conceptual master planning, and 10 years as a CAD manager and 3D marketing visualization specialist. Soto’s current duties at KH also include being responsible for training users, generating 3D-visualization conceptual rendering to ensure constructability, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination on projects. - IVIshka VoiculescuIshka Voiculescu is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) /CADD manager for the engineering services division of the City of Austin’s Public Works Department in Austin, Texas. He has 8-plus years of experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and Land Desktop software, and various experiences working with other software products from Autodesk, Inc.; Bentley Systems, Inc.; Dassault Systèmes; and many other companies. Besides design, he is responsible for research and development of standards, training materials, and ways of implementing BIM technologies within his department and expanding their adoption citywide. He is also co-author of the books, Mastering AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 and Mastering AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 2016, both published by Wiley.
