- IJIvan JaramilloSheryl Yang is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) expert and advocate with both construction and facilities management (FM) backgrounds and more than 5 years of experience working on research and implementation of BIM for the architecture, engineering, and construction and FM industries. She is now an implementation consultant at Autodesk, Inc., focusing on providing consulting and training services for the adoption and development of BIM 360 Solutions and BIM practices. Yang also helps Autodesk clients to integrate the BIM 360 platform and data with their existing construction or FM applications. Prior to joining Autodesk, Yang worked as a researcher and received her doctoral degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on BIM for owners—more specifically, on developing a new approach using BIM and visualization technologies to streamline facility maintenance workflows.
