Description

This is a comprehensive tutorial with the goal of teaching a group of beginners how to use Revit. After the course, the attendee will have a deep understanding of the program and should be able to deliver a BIM model. The course will cover the aspects of: user interface, modeling of building elements, content creation, best practices and what not to do. To illustrate the teachings, a sample project will be modeled by the group. Both authors run popular YouTube channels on which they share their love for BIM and Revit with the world and help their audience with their software struggles.

  • Jacqueline Rohrmann
    Jacqueline Rohrmann (also known as That BIM Girl) is a civil engineering student from TU München. She is passionate about BIM and everything innovative - from robots to Ai. A year ago she started her YouTube-Channel on which she shares tipps and tricks for Revit as well as reports on latest trends of the construction industry. Her latest project is a series called "Coding for AEC", which is directed towards architects and engineers interested in programming. She recently finished her Master's Thesis on "Design Optimization in Early Project Stages - A Generative Design Approach to Project Development".
  • Milos Temerinski
    Milos is an architecture student currently working on his master's thesis. He has created and run the largest YouTube channel dedicated to Revit tutorials called BalkanArchitect (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCapzEjUWyv7H4GtPQrgybTQ). His area of expertise is taking complex topics in architecture and Revit and making them easy and fun to learn.
