Description

This class will focus on introducing the tool combination between Fusion 360 software and generative design / Dynamo Studio software. Fusion 360 can expand design and engineering capabilities with external Autodesk solutions. In the near future, 3D printing in metal and agronomic design will lead product innovation and it will drive big impacts in the market. Co-speaker Satoshi Yanagisawa has created a 3D-printed titanium bicycle with Fusion 360 and Within software. Satoshi will introduce the entire development process during the class. He also created Task Light with Fusion 360 and Dynamo Studio. This beautiful Task Light can be controlled from smartphones and hand gestures. Come and see how it was developed.

  • Satoshi Yanagisawa
    Experienced as an industrial designer & researcher, focusing on a variety of industrial segments for producing useful things embodies with an organic and aesthetic visual representation. Born in Tokyo, Japan, graduated from University for the Creative Arts in the UK. After finalising educational experience, I have worked in several design consultancies in London. Then founding own studio in Tokyo 2014, I have fascinated to commit industrial additive manufacturing and the engineering /design workflow. Undoubtedly, my studio specialises a wide range of digital manufacturing and design capabilities, which mainly from a very early stage of product development, such as conceptualising, sketching and digital model making.
