Are you a veteran Inventor Simulation software user? Are you limited to what you can do with Inventor Simulation software? If the answer is Yes, this class is for you. This class will also be beneficial for designers with little knowledge of Inventor Simulation software. The session will start by demonstrating the powerful functionalities of Autodesk Nastran In-CAD software, followed by showcasing how designers like you around the world have made great designs by utilizing the powerful functionalities of Autodesk Nastran In-CAD software. This session features Nastran In-CAD.

Key Learnings

  • Learn how to set up designs in Autodesk Nastran In-CAD
  • Learn how to analyze and interpret designs in Autodesk Nastran In-CAD
  • Learn how other designers have successfully utilized Autodesk Nastran In-CAD within their design processes
  • Learn how to apply best practices

Speakers

  • Wasim Younis
A passionate simulation solutions expert with more than 30 years of experience in the manufacturing field, including working at Rolls Royce and British Aerospace. Has been involved with Autodesk simulation software from when it was first introduced, and is well-known throughout the Autodesk simulation community, worldwide. Has been speaking at Autodesk University since 2010 in Las Vegas, London and Dubai. He has authored and updated the Autodesk Official Training courseware on Inventor Stress, Dynamic Simulation and Simulation Mechanical. Recently contributed towards creating content for the Fusion Simulation Certification Exam. He has also authored the Up and Running with Autodesk Inventor Professional books including Inventor Stress, Dynamic Simulation, Inventor Nastran Linear and Nonlinear books. • David Truyens
David Truyens has buildup a strong overview on the Autodesk manufacturing products in the 10 years he has been working for distribution in the Benelux. Always had a passion for simulation, but also multi-disciplinary projects. He studied at the University of Antwerp as an electro-mechanical engineer, with a final project on the optimization of a wing box in a collaboration with Dassault. Later on he moved from heavy lifting to product design to find his passion in CAE. Other passions are tinkering with Arduino and CNC (creating a self-balancing robot for example). In rare occasions when he can’t be found behind his computer or at a customer he seeks complete disconnection while sailing at sea.
