Description
"Delays, errors and disputes come as no surprise for the construction industry. Airsquire offers 'browser-based' comparison tools, using Artificial Intelligence, to detect errors between 3D models and point-cloud scans that capture reality. This reduces the costs incurred by both contractors and developers when discrepancies are identified in later stages of construction.
In this class, will cover the basics of rendering, model-alignment, measurement and streaming techniques for point-clouds in the Forge-Viewer. We will then demonstrate a more advanced example with Airsquire, which can handle large sized data-sets of 3D models while providing user-friendly analytics and heat-maps that simplify the verification workflows."
Key Learnings
- learn about verification workflows using Point-Cloud
- learn how to integrate and calibrate, large PointClouds inside ForgeViewer
- learn about spatial indexes for streaming point-clouds
- learn how to customize the "measure tool" inside Forge.Viewer
