Virtualization offers a smarter way for Autodesk customers to achieve improved manageability, centralization and security for their applications and the technology has now reached mainstream maturity. As an example, the open lab sessions at Autodesk University are for the first time are being run as virtual sessions on Dell hardware rather than running on bare metal.
