본 강의는 실질적인 한옥의 ‘설계’ 작업에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있는 ‘설계 지원 도구’의 개발에 관한 것입니다. 최초에는 모듈을 활용하여 몸체부의 공간을 구획하고 매스를 검토하는 공간 및 몸체부 구조를 계획합니다. 이를 바탕 상부에 올라갈 지붕부의 형태를 결정하는 지붕부를 계획합니다. 그 이후 각 패밀리들을 실제 형태를 가진 부재 몸통부와 결구부로 변환 및 결합하는 부재를 완성하고, 서까래 및 기와를 배치하는 등 최종 모델링 데이터를 자동으로 생성합니다. 본 강의는 이 전반에 관한 내용을 소개하여 한옥을 보다 쉽고 빠르게 설계할 수 있는 설계 지원 도구에 관하여 소개합니다. 본 기술에 관한한 1) 사용자가 평면을 구상하는 초기 설계 단계에서부터 사용이 가능하며, 2) 사용자가 구상한 평면에 대한 지붕도 손쉽게 구현이 가능하며, 3) 모듈을 단위로 하여 한옥 비전문가도 비교적 쉽게 제어가 가능하다는 장점도 시연 동영상 등을 통해 개괄합니다. 또한 각 단계별 활용된 모듈 및 기본 라이브러리 구축에 관한 소개와 함께 모델링 자동화 기술에 적용된 개념 및 구축 원리에 관한 설명도 포함되어 있습니다.
