Architects Can Build Too: The Collaborative Power of ACC and Autodesk Build

Many people look at Autodesk Construction Cloud, especially the Autodesk Build platform, and believe it's only for the construction industry. However, many design disciplines that work with the construction industry use the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform, especially architectural/design firms. While Autodesk Build is ideally set up to be a more collaborative workflow, that doesn't mean it has to be used in that way. This session will show you how our architectural firm uses different aspects of Autodesk Build before and during construction. We'll cover how our firm went from a dual-input, multiprogram workflow to using Autodesk Build for specific field workflows. We'll cover the tools we use in Autodesk Build and how we use custom forms and reports to get the output to look the way we want it to look. By using Autodesk Build workflows, we'll explain how we became more efficient in capturing data, and how we get the appropriate information into the hands of our construction partners in hours instead of days.
