Engineers will be interested in the conversion of an MEP mechanical room with numerous pump connections to a construction-ready model. Installers will be interested in our 3D Fab map with identified pieces and indication of the field connections. The mechanical room will be divided in several sections, to optimise fabrication in the workshop. Cut length sheets and bill of materials will be generated, allowing for spool labeling per zone to minimise material handling and increase job-site efficiency. All this will be realised using Revit, ReCap Pro (retrofit jobs and job-site scanning), Revizto (issue tracking and virtual reality) and the Victaulic Tools For Revit. This session will be presented in an interactive way by combining presentations and movies with live demonstrations.

- KVKenneth VerlindenKenneth Verlinden is VDC BIM Team and Content Manager EMEA-I at Victaulic, a manufacturer of mechanical pipe joining and fire protection systems. Kenneth works for Victaulic since 2001 Using his experience in CAD design, MEP and fire protection piping, standardization and pre-fabrication on large scale projects. Prior to joining Victaulic, Kenneth worked at a chemical plant as design engineer. He holds an electro-mechanical bachelor's degree and is Autodesk Revit MEP certified professional.
