The class will discuss our cultural transformation from a plumbing/mechanical contractor to a manufacturer in our fabrication facility. With a focus on innovations and the future of building construction, Cannistraro embarked on a journey to modernize its piping fabrication facility with advanced proprietary equipment. The cornerstone of the success is the integration between Fabrication ESTmep software and the equipment. The goal was to utilize the "I" in Building Information Modeling (BIM) to program the equipment, minimize operator entry, and maximize production while adopting true manufacturing workflows.

With an emphasis on safety and quality, Joe ensures that each project meets both company and client goals, standards and expectations. Joe has more than 15 years of experience in Plumbing systems, Coordination, Fabrication and general construction. He is passionate about technology and has served as a guest speaker on topics such as BIM, Lean Fabrication and Construction Technology for numerous industry organizations, including Autodesk University.
