- ECEric CylwikEric is the modeling engineer for Sundt's Transportation and Infrastructure division. Before working for the Civil division, Eric focused on adapting Building Information Modelings (BIM) from the office to the field for concrete. He now focuses on creating BIMs that highlight technology’s capability to enhance construction performance in the field. Focusing on infrastructure, Cylwik has been able to capitalize on parametric modeling to create construction-quality bridge, road, and trench models that are used for survey surfaces, machine control, quantity takeoffs, utility coordination, constructability reviews, and visualizations. Cylwik has helped Sundt procure over $1 billion of alternative delivery method projects. He graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in design studies with an emphasis in digital visualization. He is also a certified professional in several vertical and horizontal BIM and virtual design and construction software programs.
- RHRyan HainesRyan Haines is a CAD/BIM Technician for Sundt Construction, Inc. He holds a Mathematics B.S. degree from Arizona State University and has years of field experience in residential construction. At his first AU in 2013, Ryan became a certified professional in AutoCAD 2014 after using the software for less than two months. Currently as a member of Toastmasters International, he is on-track to achieve his Competent Communicator award. At present, Ryan works primarily in Sundt's Heavy Civil Division constructing 3D models for business development and operations purposes. In addition, he is familiar with the AutoCAD Civil 3D .NET API and writes custom application extensions to further automate modeling tasks. He sees great value in the extensibility of Civil 3D to harness its power for specific project- and process-level requirements. Ryan enjoys developing and working with construction technology to increase company performance and industry productivity.
