Description
This class will cover the benefits of using BIM 360 Docs as a central hub for many different stakeholders in a plant project. In this session, we’ll look at ideal workflows for transferring and managing data models from Mechanical, Plant and Process engineering into BIM 360 Docs. Based on a real world experience we will share best practices and lessons learned on how to synchronize engineering data from model authoring systems into the Cloud. We will discuss and demonstrate the importance of all project participants having access to these models with intuitive tools to search and analyze models, and in doing so, creating full project awareness. The session will conclude with the various positive business impacts companies can achieve by implementing such a hybrid environment.

Bettina KlemkeBettina works as project manager in the global IT department at ANDRITZ AG. She has 6 years experience in managing software implementation projects in the machinery and plant engineering industry. Currently she is leading the development and implementation of a global collaboration platform on engineering and project information.- JAJochen AndoerferJochen is a Business Consultant in the EMEA Autodesk Project Delivery organization. He joined the EMEA Business Consulting Team in 2012 after several years as Technical Consultant and Project Manager within Autodesk. He graduated in 2000 as Engineer in Geoinformatics and developed as Technical Business Economist in the year 2008. Additionally Jochen is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) at PMI. He has the ability to run and manage Business Process Consulting and IT Consulting in several business areas such as Infrastructure, AEC and Manufacturing. He is doing assessments together with customers and supports them in the implementation and roll out of new methods, tools and processes. In 2013 he started a Digital Factory project with customer Magna Steyr where he received the Innovation & Technical Excellence Award 2013 at OTC in March 2014.
Christian GartnerChristian has been working at Andritz since 2010. He has more than 10 years experience in software development based on Autodesk products. In his current role he is responsible for the architecture within Smart Service and work closely with the various project teams.
