InfraWorks software is a perfect tool when it comes to optioneering, and Civil 3D software is the right tool to create design drawings. But how do we exchange data between the two of them when InfraWorks doesn’t have a proper "rail" setup? This class will guide you through the creation of the right environment that will enable you to send data between the two platforms and use component road to mimic rails in InfraWorks while still maintaining a proper rail alignment in Civil 3D to calculate cant and use the drawing production tools. It is all about the proper use of Data Shortcuts and some tips and trick. What happens when you’ve made some changes to the option already exported? What happens to the drawings already produced?
