What’s Happening Outside the Classroom at AU 2020

Classes are the heart of Autodesk University, but they’re just the beginning of the AU 2020 global digital experience. Save time in your day to join us for live events, meetups, activities, and short-form on-demand content available during the week to enrich your learning, connect with others in your community, and reimagine possible.

Meetups

Meetup

AU 2020 meetups are small-group discussions for likeminded professionals. Most of the 75+ on offer will happen as live Zoom calls. We have meetups planned for every industry and just about every interest, and in multiple languages, too. You’ll find some focused on learning, like the Forge Lightning Talks and the Factory Experience. Others, like the Women in Manufacturing meetup or the BIM MEP meetup, are focused on connecting with your peers. And some are mostly fun, like the AU Games meetup and the Forge Fire Face Off. But they’re all a great way to build your community during AU 2020.

Expo

Talking in the Expo

Discover hundreds of products and services that can help you get more from your tools and your time. Attend live demos, check out on-demand content, and meet with industry and product experts from around the world to discuss your challenges and get help navigating changes in your industry.

Pets of AU

Get your calming dose of pet cuteness during AU 2020 with live kitten and puppy cams and other videos courtesy of Best Friends Animal Society. Add to the cuteness by sharing a pic of your own pet on social media using the hashtag #PetsofAU.

AU 2020 5K

5K

AU wouldn’t be AU without the annual 5K. This year, it’ll be happening virtually—so the early wake-up is optional. Join the AU 2020 Strava group and complete your 5K from November 9-16 in any way that you like—running, walking, or cycling. We’ve already got folks there logging kilometers. Join the fun today.

The Design Slam

Design Slam

This year’s Design Slam has been reimagined as a digital experience. It’ll feature top designers in architecture and infrastructure designing solutions for a theoretical project brief inspired by a development proposal on Governor's Island. Designers will be interviewed as they review their work. You can ask questions, too.

The Theater

AU Theater

Break up your class-based learning with short doses of thought leadership in the Theater. Industry innovators share work and perspectives on topics like industrialized construction, sustainability, and generative design. Each session is 15 minutes or less and available on demand.
