During this session, we’ll walk you through the workflows that stakeholders in the Australian MEP construction sector are using. Taking a standardized industry approach enables multiple stakeholders to collaborate in a simplified workflow. With the introduction of fabrication in Revit software, the Australian market has identified the benefits of adopting industry standards that we’ll explain during this session. Identifying the challenges presented with this approach, we’ll demonstrate how these have been overcome and what challenges still remain. - DMDavid ManghamOriginally from Ramsbottom, in the North West of England Dave worked in both the CAM & CAD departments for a large HVAC construction company, instrumental in the development of MAP’s CADDuct software. He spent a period working at M.A.P. as their CAD support manager before moving to an HVAC contractor as a project engineer. Following a period managing HVAC projects in the North West of England he then spent 5 years cutting his teeth at a global multi-disciplinary design practice in central Manchester as their cad manager. Following a move to Melbourne Dave spent 3 years configuring & deploying Autodesk’s Fabrication ESTmep for one of Australia's Tier 1 Contractors. For the past 2 years Dave has worked for A2K Technologies as their Senior MEP Solutions Consultant specialising in ESTmep / CAMduct / Revit MEP training and configuration throughout the Australia & New Zealand MEP industry.. He brings 30 years’ experience in all facets of the M.E.P. construction / design industry to AU 2019.
