- Ashwin RameshAs an assistant virtual design and construction (VDC) manager and project engineer for Clayco Corp., Ashwin Ramesh is responsible for management and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) / VDC on projects. He is also responsible for the support of project staff to maintain or improve accuracy, reduce risk, and gain efficiency capitalizing on technology in the field. Ramesh’s experience includes work in the fields of virtual reality, laser scanning, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) coordination, and project-to-facilities data management on residential and healthcare projects—and recently, layout management and control on an industrial project. Ramesh’s focus is to work directly with the project team and in the field, which would give him exposure to the daily challenges and tasks of improving productivity and quality. Ramesh was also a part of a research group at Pennsylvania State University, and he is co-author of the “BIM Planning Guide for Facility Owners.”
- TZTomislav ZigoOver the past two decades Tomislav has been an advocate of digital technology implementation as a researcher, designer and over past six years as a designer - builder. His experience includes work in the vanguard of BIM methodology implementation on large healthcare, institutional and industrial projects; research work in the field of Building Performance Analysis; optimization and use of mobile and immersive technology and mentorship positions in a number of local and national architectural firms during their transition toward BIM adoption. Currently he leads Clayco's VDC department and teaches at Washington University in St. Louis.
