Make manual site coordination a thing of the past. In this class you'll learn how to consistently and accurately transfer information between Revit software and Civil 3D software. Using the Shared Reference Point tool, we'll walk through the setup so that your Revit model comes accurately into Civil 3D. If you're looking to send information the other way, BIM 360 software and the Desktop Connector are your friend. By the end of this class, you'll understand why these tools work the way they do, and how to send information back and forth between Revit and Civil 3D.

Michael HurtadoOriginally from New York, I joined Autodesk in the Waltham office shortly before it was moved to Boston where I still work out of today. Originally on the support team, I leaned on my Transportation Engineering background extensively to support our Civil 3D and Infraworks users. In addition to the one on one interactions that I had while tackling issues, I've helped write some of the help documentation found in the Autodesk Knowledge Network, and have spent some time interacting with users on the Autodesk forums. Today I'm a Designed Support Specialist working with our Enterprise Users. Using a blend of my Engineering and Support background, I'm able to provide useful insight to some of our largest accounts and help educate users on many of our Infrastructure workflows. If my proposal is accepted, this will be my third time speaking at AU.
