MANUEL LIEDOT: Welcome, and thank you for watching. So in this session, we will try to give you an overview about the way GRAITEC can help you to improve your processes to be more effective, et cetera. So I will run the session together with my team, and I will introduce them step by step on the fly.

Just maybe a few words about me, I felt in love with computers in the '80s, so last century. So I started to do programming, mathematics, also games, as you can see on the screen. And I started on the Commodore VIC-20, maybe the old people watching this session can remember these kind of computers, super, super powerful, obviously. Then 10 years later, I studied structural analysis. So my background is structural engineering.

And by the way, I studied together with Nicola Mangon, who is now at Autodesk in charge of product strategy globally. So we were friends at that time. We are still. And then, together, by the way, we joined GRAITEC, and we could combine our passion for computing and structural analysis. And we started to develop structural analysis for the construction industry.

As you can tell, I'm French. And by the way, I contributed a lot to the Olympics last summer in Paris as a supporter, but I contributed a lot. And not only me contributed but also GRAITEC, indirectly through our customers. And in this particular example, so that's the stadium, Stade de France, where the athlétisme took place and also the closing ceremony, if you remember Tom Cruise.

And so that was designed by our customer, Bouygue. You can see the logo in a range at the top of the screen, and the design, all the concrete parts with our product, structural analysis product at that time. So of course, it was not done on purpose for the Olympics. It was designed 30 years ago for the FIFA World Cup, but the structure is still there. So that was expected to be fair. So we contributed.

So our customers, they are doing big projects but also some other kind of projects. I let you see.

MANUEL LIEDOT: OK, so let's stop here. So you can see the little platform on which the musicians can play, those platforms here. So indeed, that was also designed. So that's a small structure. It's not a stadium, but nevertheless, it is designed. And you can see it's interesting, some pictures from the inside.

And hopefully this is the first time you are seeing this. So you can see from the inside how the structure works. And this has been designed using our product Advance Design.

Another example is this bridge where there were dancers. And the structure was checked using our product. Because if you put too many people dancing in the same time on the bridge, that can create resonance issues. So that could be very, very dangerous, obviously.

And so all this was checked using our product Advance Design. And by the way, it impacted the choreography because they had to-- they could not put as many dancers as they wanted initially.

So that's about me. And that's some words about Graitec. I will come back on Graitec maybe a little bit later. Now, let's talk about the challenges of our industry. As you know, many, many, many projects are over scheduled or over budget. And usually it goes together.

If you look at the productivity increase in our industry, plus 10% in the last 22 years, so it's much lower than in some other industries. And we know that. And also, the profit is much lower in some than in some other industry. And this is probably the result of the complexity of this construction industry with many stakeholders, many companies involved, a lack of industrialization, so very manual things. It's on the field, a lot of improvisation, probably a lack of plan implementation, and [INAUDIBLE], et cetera.

And maybe another word, so to be fair, it's difficult to compare auto industry with manufacturing industry because every building is a prototype. Nevertheless, we can improve things. And by the way, the result of, as a consequence, the result of those inefficiencies, it makes a lot of impact for our planet.

And so also we need to change the way we design, we build, and we operate the buildings. At the point, it will become a dead or alive question. So we have to improve all this. Of course, on an exhibition like AU, there are many technologies, many innovations provided by Autodesk first, and many partners around the table. And for you professionals, it's probably not so easy to navigate there and to see what exactly makes sense and should be the priority for you today now.

And the role of a partner like Graitec is to somehow fill the gap between or bridge the gap, maybe, between Autodesk and you guys. And so our role, we see our role-- and by the way, Steve Bloom's seeing it, as well. So our role is to bring the missing part of the puzzle to help you choose the right solutions, do the right implementation according to your business needs and your priorities. That's our role.

If we look, by the way, at the report-- I don't know if you had the opportunity to look at the Design and Make Report. You can get it on the Autodesk website. It's quite interesting.

So it's a huge report. I will not go through everything. But I picked a page. If you look on the right side and if we survey the market and if we ask the customers and the, sorry, the construction professionals, OK, what are your top of mind concerns and challenges? What comes first is everything related to cost control and cost management, of course, then people, how to attract, how to retain, then things related to product and innovation, then sustainability.

And it's new in the picture, but I'm pretty sure that we'll keep going growing, and that might become the number one topic at the point, and everything related to data. And so at Graitec, we are providing, we see our missions as helping you to optimize, standardize, automate your processes, help you to make sure that your people are trained, they are really ready to work, et cetera.

So I will not go through all the details because we will see that through the presentation today. But we see our mission like this. The way we are delivering this, we have a framework that we call the Digital Innovation Framework. And I will not go to all the details because it would require probably one hour, a specific hour, to talk about, to explain the methodology around this framework.

But this is basically a process where we start from your business goals. We start from there. And then we define together with you the strategy. And then step by step, we refine the roadmap going to more and more details step by step. And we can go to the execution and decide together with you how do we execute. Do you execute on your side? We help you. We do part of the job, how we share.

The target at the end is that you are, basically you improve the overall process and you are more effective, obviously. When doing this, we consider all the components, starting from the leadership, the people involved, the process, the data, the technology. So it's really a 360 degrees review for your performance. So that's what we call the Digital Innovation Framework.

We have people, on AU, we have people that can go to much more details together with you. By the way, on another notes, so I was talking three minutes ago about bridging the gap. So we have also, by the way, a podcast called Bridging the Gap, which is animated by Todd that we see on the left of the screen, from the back, unfortunately.

And so it's basically a place where we will see many customers reporting on their experience and sharing their view on innovation for the construction industry. So it's around 300 episodes so far and a lot of interactions. It's in English, but it's accessible from-- we have visitors from many countries, et cetera. So I encourage you to flash the QR code, the bottom of the screen, and to subscribe.

At the end of this introduction, what I want, I would like now to focus on our technologies and the way they are helping you to work better, faster, and with less impact for the planet. So we have organized our products around four pillars that we call create, simulate, fabricate, and connect.

The create is everything about the creation of the models, how to help you to be more productive, more effective when doing the models, especially on top of Revit. The simulation, it's everything around, optimizing those models, making sure they are optimal to avoid wasting material, to basically optimize everything, whatever it is, structure, it is even thermal analysis, et cetera.

The fabricate is bringing basically those model to fabrication. And the connect is about everything about the data. And so now I'm going to hand over to my team. And we will give an example. We will, of course, in this session, we will not be able to cover everything. But I will ask them to pick one or two examples of what we do in area here. And we will start with Glynnis, with in charge of the create solution line. And Glynnis, I let you the stage.

GLYNNIS PATTERSON: Thank you. I'm upset that I only get to talk about a few things. But I'll try to hit my mark here. My name is Glynnis Patterson. I am an architect by training. And I am the solution line director at Graitec, as Manuel mentioned.

What I'd like to talk about today, if you want to scroll to the next slide, is I want to focus primarily on one of our productivity solutions. But I want to start by talking about sustainability because it's so important to me. And it's also a great way to talk about our AU experience and what we hope to get out of AU from all of you that are watching.

Last year at AU, we had some great conversations at our booth that were around sustainability. And we had a number of customers ask us about providing access to some data inside the Revit model that Revit itself is not able to access. And so we're looking at here is BIM link, which is one of our tools. It's focused on extracting information out of the Revit model so that it can be edited in large quantities.

But we're looking at the kind of data that is really imperative to those who are interested in preparing their Revit models for embodied carbon analysis. So the request from AU and our friends that came by to visit us was, can we make that data editable? And by being able to do that, which we turned around six months later and did do that work, it enables our customers to take that model and move it to the next phase.

So we're really pleased to be here at AU this year. We hope that you'll stop by our booth and contact us online and share with us what your sustainability challenges. We'd love to have an integral part in that. And BIM Link is just one of the ways that we can do that.

So in this example that we're showing here, what we've been doing is exporting out all the layers for the walls, Gypsum Wallboard, and changing the underlying materials so that we can really do an accurate analysis of that information. So you go ahead and hit the next slide.

And so the main product that I want to speak about, though, the remaining time that I've been given, is talk about productivity and our solution, which is called Ideate Automation. And it has a lot of different uses that we can bring to bear on this. But a couple examples are noted here.

One of the examples that we'll use and show an example of in a minute is being able to export data from your Revit model to generate things such as PDFs, Navisworks, IFC, or DWG kind of file exports. We also have the ability to generate health checks, or even just to open up your model.

And all of these tasks, which are incredibly time consuming for a lot of our customers, are things that can be scheduled to occur regularly during off work hours or overnight production. So go ahead and roll the next slide, please.

So the example that I want to show you is an example where we're using our automation product to generate PDF files. We're using that in combination with Ideate BIMLink. And the problem that we're trying to solve here is we want to publish overnight. And we want to make sure that the sheets that we're including in that publish are the right sheets.

As many of you know that work inside of Revit, the Revit sheet set list is a static list, which means that if there's a new sheet or an old sheet that gets removed, you need to modify that list. So when you add BIMLink into the solution along with Ideate Automation, you can work much more intelligently.

So the example that we're going to be showing here in a second is we're using BIMLink to say, I want to be exporting sheets that only begin with the letter S to 0. So go ahead and roll the next slide, and we'll take a look at how this works.

So we call this Dynamic Exporting. And you can use it with Navisworks or PDFs. What we're seeing here is the Ideate Automation tool that works outside of Revit. We're picking from a list of pre described tasks. And then we're going to pick one or more files either from our Autodesk Construction Cloud or from our local servers.

We're controlling whether the work sets are open and closed or which ones are open or closed. And then we're defining where we're going to be putting the output. The key thing here that I really want to focus on is, again, working smarter part of it. Here, we're using BIMLink. We're tying into that and referencing some external information that defines, on the fly, what it is we're going to be exporting.

And you can go deeper within Ideate Automation to specify things like the PDF Export Setup. And there's some additional changes you can make that are hidden under the additional settings option there. But once we define all of that with the BIMLink settings, we will go ahead and select Next and write this information out, referencing the BIMLink data that comes with the samples provided inside of BIMLink.

When you deliver this kind of task, you run it the first time, validate all the task choices that you're going to make here, and let that run. And so you'll run it the first time, and then you'll be able to schedule this. And most of our customers, the way that they're using this, is they're scheduling overnight all of their Revit projects to have PDF output available. And this goes to collaboration, as well, because what a great thing to be able to have a fresh copy of the PDFs in the morning when you come into the office available for people who maybe don't use Revit.

So this automated process, you can see here, it opened and closed. And the automation solution here will display how long that particular task took. And so that's our first example that I wanted to talk about here. And you can see here, if we open up the actual output, the key thing is this is a project that has many sheets in it. But we've said we only want these SD ones that met this particular criteria. All right, so you can roll to the next slide.

So then along the same lines, in terms of using Ideate Automation, another really popular value of that to our customers is extracting information from the Revit model that are indicators of model health. And so we're showing here an example where there's an Excel file that's linked into the Revit project. It's placed on the home page shown there in pink to indicate whether there's a problem with the file or not. You can scroll to the next page.

That kind of data can be reviewed in an Excel file format inside the context. Or it also works with the Power BI that's shown here that we provide to our customers. Go to the next slide.

So we'll just take one more look at automation and how this works in the background for delivering an Ideate Health Check. Again, there's a number of predefined scripts that you can pick from. And you can do one or more Revit projects. We're showing here the live cloud model.

And what's valuable here in this particular example is that you can define or use our out of the box sort of criteria, which includes KPIs that go to model health. So the Excel file itself is actually driving the criteria for the model health. And we're going to write out a version of that data to the location that we specify. And we're going to use some link data here that also goes to health quality criteria. There's a number, I think there's 10 different files inside of BIMLink that are already set up to export what we know is key metric data.

So again, you're going to go ahead and run this information. And what it does is it'll identify which version of Revit is needed, open up that version. It's going to be bringing down a fresh copy from the Construction Cloud, if that's what you're using.

And then it's going to run BIMLink. It's going to extract information like the model lines, the work sets, information about the number of elements. And then it's going to run Explorer, which is another product some of you are familiar with. That's going to highlight the number of warnings in the project, which is also a very key, probably the key indicator of model health.

And then it's also going to layer in some information about the annotation quality of the project itself, which is a great indicator of like, are you ready to actually go to publish the official permit set or the construction documents set?

Here's an example of what that output actually looks like. You can see here the date it was published. And anything that's in red is sort of an indicator that it's not meeting the criteria that we're setting for those metric values. So the idea that you can gather this data and gather it consistently and define KPIs, which we're showing here in the Excel file, just means that you can have, across all of your models in your organization, a very consistent way of looking at the data and knowing about the health of your model, which really goes back to productivity.

And so with that, we can go ahead and scroll to the next slide. So just automation at a glance. Some of the key features which we've been able to highlight a little bit here are that we can schedule files to open, open my file at 8:00 AM in the morning when I start. We can export content such as PDF, DWG, NWC and IFCs. And we can understand model health.

Next. The benefits, the big benefits here, of course, are it's saving you a lot of time. These are all very manual process. But it's also about error reduction. We are standardizing the kind of data we want, how we're getting it out, and when it's coming to us. So we're really removing a lot of human errors from that mix. And, of course, all of that's going to go to cost savings.

Automation is very easy to set up. We piggyback on top of the Autodesk OAuth. And there's a lot of great content in the product, as well as extensive help files and videos. Thanks, Manuel.

MANUEL LIEDOT: Thanks. And I think we have even some happy customers.

GLYNNIS PATTERSON: We do, yeah.

MANUEL LIEDOT: OK, yeah. I don't know if you want to comment this one or not.

GLYNNIS PATTERSON: I mean, not specifically. I think I just wanted to mention that for us, again, being here at AU and being able to talk to customers is really just-- it's how we develop our software. So people like Matthew here that are talking about automation, it's great to have them and their complements of the work we do. But we want to thank them, as well. And Nicholas, as well. They have really helped us improve our software by having some open dialogue and collaboration. So thank you.

MANUEL LIEDOT: Thank you. Thank you very much, Glynnis. I understand I have heard the frustration to show only a very small part of Ideate software. By the way, I take this opportunity to say that I guess you know, many of you know Ideate software for a long time. And Ideate software joined the Graitec group a few months ago, so during the spring. So it's a big, big pleasure for the entire team and great to welcome the Ideate team. And we are now one team. And that's great.

Thank you very much, Glynnis. And I promise, next time we try to give you more time. Now, let's go to the simulate part. And I will welcome Stevens, Stevens Chemise, who is the product line manager of those products. So welcome, Stevens. You're here.

STEVENS CHEMISE: Yes, I'm here. Thanks, Manuel, for the introduction. And I'm pleased to continue this presentation. And thanks, Glynnis, as well for this nice presentation, as well.

So I'm pleased now to continue this introduction and this discovery in our portfolio of product, especially with our simulate product design for concrete engineering purpose. If you can go next, please, Manuel.

So let me showcase in live what we mean with structural connected workflow. So today, what the product we are proposing are running top of Revit. And we have our power packs add-ons, which enable a connection between the Revit model you saw, the analytical model in Revit. And we can directly transfer this model to Advance Design.

Once our model will be brought in, the small reports could be inform that and make sure that the report was done successfully. And we can proceed to and complete this model, bring in any, by the way, [INAUDIBLE] software connected to Revit. In this case, Advance Design.

Engineer can continue their workflow by completing the model, adding support and perform the calculation and the design. Now, when we are happy with the design, we can visualize the result and export those results in Revit, wait for to consolidate all those information and use those information as an input to generate a rebar cage.

For that, we are using our internal file format, so Graitec [INAUDIBLE] file format. And we have a dedicated dialog box that help our customers to synchronize modification. Synchronizing means that you can control your modification and check visually what is going to be modified inside Revit section loads, analytical assumption, and so on.

Now in Revit, what would be interesting, is that using the result manager coming from Revit, which is a native command of Revit, we can check and see the exact same result than was calculated in Advance Design. In Revit, we can visualize bending moment forces, even theoretical reinforcement ratio. All those information will be leveraged and used to batch calculate several categories of object at once-- for example here footings, columns, and BIM.

With the multiple selection, we can batch calculate those object, design them, and automate this rebar cage generation for all those objects as one. So it's a huge timesaver.

In addition, the command we are proposing in our power pack are not designed only for standard beam rectangular section. We can perform advanced and custom shape configuration, such as for this beam with a pressure, an opening. And our tool is proposing advance configuration.

In addition, directly in Revit, without having to use an external application, we can complete, as well, the engineering job by, for example here, adding manual loads if it's necessary on a beam or a wall or all categories of object. Once this design is done, engineer can present and generate advanced documentation, not a simple report.

As you can see here, we have more than 20 pages automated report generated in one click, containing all details of the calculation. To keep our workflow connected, our tools contain, as well, as you can see here, tools that are designed to help our customer to fine tune the modeling, such as the openings and splitting bar commands.

And to conclude for the fabrication drawings, we have this powerful command, the clone drawings mechanism, which can help to automate, as you saw, all section generation containing all details, dimension like tags, and so on. So if you go--

MANUEL LIEDOT: Yeah, I'm going to the next slide, but thank you, Stevens. It went super, super fast. And I gave a small slot, I realized. And so the video went really super fast. For sure it requires-- you will need to go on the Graitec website see more details and with take more time, because there's a lot. There's a lot.

And what I would like to highlight, because sometimes we don't realize, all the rebar, which is automatically populated, is really coming from the design. So it's not just drawing. It's the design by the code. And we see the reports justifying all the rebar design. I'm going to next slide.

STEVENS CHEMISE: Thanks, Manuel, for the additional information. So indeed, our workflow, which was presented super fast, but we are pleased in this session of, as well, to have a specific hands on this session. So feel free to join us to discover and test this workflow.

There are obvious key features with this connected workflow, starting from the immediate productivity of generating rebar cage in comparing to manual process to model each bar manually. And also, we have some automation in the documentation, as you saw.

So logically, these tools is addressed both for structural engineer using in Revit, because they can perform the design inside Revit, but also for rebar detailers because they will be able to use the design analysis result as a design intent to proceed to the rebar cage generation.

And then I would say one major benefit of this, because there are a lot of question about is it useful to have 3D Rebar cage in my model. All those information stored in the model will contain not only the geometrical, the geometry of the rebar and the data, but also all design assumption, all the documentation with the report.

And all those engineering and structural engineering information could be consolidated in one single model that we can, for example, store and host in ACC, for example, to have this cloud based information as well.

MANUEL LIEDOT: And sent to rebar manufacturer for fabrication.

STEVENS CHEMISE: Indeed. Indeed. If we can conclude with the next slide. So all those processes are not new. We have already some existing customers who use either the entire workflow or also a part of the workflow depending their speciality in their job.

Here, we have an example of an Italian company, DBA PRO, who use more specially the modeling part of our power pack, the modeling capabilities of rebar for civil works project.

We have two Romanian company, some big engineering office such as Leviathan, Popp Associati, who use, as well, from design to drawings. And you would be able to find all those testimonial present in details by those customer who present some session with us during the last edition of AU. So feel free to consult the Autodesk University session catalogs. And you will be able to find online those project presented by those customer with great solution and with us, as well as speaker. That's all for my presentation.

MANUEL LIEDOT: Thank you very much, Stevens. So as you understand, Stevens is a [INAUDIBLE] presenter on AU. And usually we try to embark customers to do the show, to run the show together with the customers. I think that that's great. Thank you very much, Stevens.

STEVENS CHEMISE: Thanks, Manuel.

MANUEL LIEDOT: Before we move to fabricate zooming on structure together with Brandon, I would like just to say a few words about Graitec. So now you know you are with the Graitec team. And everything you see is provided by the Graitec team and the Ideate team, which is now Ideate and Graitec equal together.

Just a few words about Graitec. So we are an Autodesk Platinum Partner and a long time Autodesk developer in Europe, in Canada, and in the US. Our revenue is split somehow 50/50 North America and Europe.

We are, as I was saying, a long time developer on Autodesk. We were developing advance steel and now advanced is on Autodesk technology. But this comes from Graitec initially. So we are developing high performance being applications. And our mission, again, is to help you to digitize and industrialize your processes to improve performance and minimize the impact for the planet.

A few figures about the company, our revenue, to give you an order of magnitude about the size of the company. We have 700 people worldwide with a lot of BIM consultants, as you can see, 300 people helping our customers to do everything we have been talking about so far. We have also 150 people involved in research and development, so developing the products that you are seeing in those demos, and a lot, of course, after 35 years on the market, a lot of customers that are trusting us.

When we design our products, we are trying to keep permanently in mind this. We want to make sure we have the best possible interoperability with Autodesk products, because Autodesk is we are very, very well connected to Autodesk products. We want our products to be easy to use. We want our products to be innovative and powerful because your projects are complex very, very often, and, of course, reliable, because without reliability, it's useless. We just lose our time. So we pay a lot of attention to all those details.

And as you have understood, we have organized our products through the create, simulate, fabricate, connect. And I just want to thank all the thousands and thousands of customers, just a few logos. I think we have tried to place here American and European customers.

OK, so now, Brandon, if you are ready, we switch on the fabricate part and let you the stage.

BRANDON IONATA: Great. Thank you very much, Manuel. And thank you for everyone joining us. Maybe we'll just start with a little video. So Manuel if you don't mind going ahead.

BRANDON IONATA: Excellent. So with that little bit out of the way, what I'm going to talk to you today about is really automating Revit DfMA. So what is DfMA? Trendy industry buzzword, perhaps. But for those of you that don't know, it means Design for Manufacturing and Assembly.

Here at Graitec, however, we see it a little bit differently. To us, it means turning digital design files into fabrication documentation and machine code automatically. So why is this important? Well, as we heard in the video, the industry is moving towards more efficient construction processes, namely off-site construction, based on the principles of manufacturing. Next slide, please.

So the problem with manufacturing for decades has been that it requires accuracy. And construction is famously inaccurate in very many ways. With the advent of BIM and the dominance of Revit, accuracy and collaboration have increased exponentially. So the point that true industrialized construction is possible on almost any jobsite today if we choose to apply these techniques.

The missing link, for many years, has been software. So how do we translate these large projects into the required precision to run robots, framing tables, and CNC machinery? More importantly, how do we input the information into our design efficiently so that it can be interpreted by these machines without having a negative impact on pre-construction timelines, so in drafting and design.

So by tethering the automation of our framing software, MWF, to the intelligence of Revit, users can easily increase level of detail model wide. So this is done through the definition of multi-layered templates. I like to say our template system is a little bit like peeling an onion.

It enables the users to define company standards and reuse that template library across multiple projects over and over again so you're saving time the more you use it. Next slide. So I'll talk a little bit about the topics that are brought up by these customers here, happy customers, while we look at these testimonials.

But basically, applying the precision of building information modeling principles, every piece of wood, steel plate, steel beam, bolt, and hold down placed in the Revit model through the automation of MWF is precise, meaning all of this data can be easily interpreted for CNC machinery.

What's more is this elevates the level of coordination possible on projects, so further saving time and money on the jobsite and, hopefully, ideally, completely eliminating rework-- obviously not in every case, but in many cases saving time and money.

So leveraging the parametricity of Revit, we can effectively push changes across all views within a project, meaning that elevations and shop drawings can be updated with a single click whenever necessary. This obviously helps customers stay on top of timelines, when change orders and errors would typically derail even the most efficient manufacturing facility.

So as we continue to progress towards manufacturing as a solution to today's construction problem, we at Graitec continue to develop the next generation software, bringing manufacturing and production management into the cloud and leveraging the data from our Revit models to power the factories building today's buildings, hopefully eliminating a lot of waste, a lot of rework, and making construction more sustainable in the long run.

MANUEL LIEDOT: Thank you. Thank you very much, Brandon. Love the enthusiasm. Great. And I think everything related to our fabricate product line in particular and MWF, it's a massive impact for improving all the processes in the construction industry, industrializing what we are doing. Thank you very much, Brandon.

So we are going to move to the last part of the session with connect, which is related to the data. And I'm inviting Stuart to the stage. So Stuart is in charge, is our technical expert in charge of the solution. You are with us.

STUART SMITH: Hi, Manuel.

MANUEL LIEDOT: The stage is yours.

STUART SMITH: Thank you very much. Hi, everyone. Stuart Smith, Technical Solution Manager for DataConnect. Excited to talk about our product today. So to help position our Data Connect solution, I think it's important to talk about the current challenges in the industry.

Construction professionals face significant hurdles, from poor data integration to lack of real time information. We see 54% of construction projects experience delays due to poor integration. 52% of construction professionals say a lack of real time data is a major hurdle to effective decision making. And overall, the industry feels a 20% decrease in productivity due to insufficient data and file collaboration. So these statistics, they show us the impact on productivity when teams struggle with poor tools for data sharing.

And that's why we created Data Connect to address these challenges we've just highlighted. Data Connect offers solutions that break down data silos and streamline workflows. And we do this with two products. First, we'll look at ERP Sync.

So ERP Sync is a cloud solution that synchronizes financial data between Autodesk build cost management and your ERP accounting systems in real time. This means for you, we can improve visibility on project costs. We can streamline data entry and enhance collaboration between your project management and finance teams.

This means we help you mitigate risks and allow your team to make informed decisions more efficiently. We then have file sync, which is going to be the main focus for the remainder of my slides. So file sync automatically syncs project critical files across cloud platforms like Autodesk Docs, BIM 360, Procore, SharePoint, and Windows.

And we can synchronize data in real time, which means we can also secure backups for uninterrupted collaboration and business continuity. We do this, as well, securely. We have data security when we're transmitting files. And we're also giving you control over your intellectual property.

Let's take a look at File Sync. We have a quick demonstration. In this example, we're going to synchronize from SharePoint to Autodesk Docs using File Sync. File Sync is an intuitive application. It's a three step process.

The first thing we do is create a connection. We have an intuitive authentication tool. Once we've created that connection, we can start syncing data, which starts with a project. We create a project where we can set up automation by scheduling. And we can also set up notifications to flag if we have any errors or when something is complete.

And the final step is to set up where we're going to and from for our sync. We can include subfolders. We can set up versioning. We can mirror directories and also do incremental copies. With all that set up, we can set our sync in progress. And we can monitor the activity through the application in real time, as well as seeing those files sync at the destination. And all of our syncs are stored and logged, which means you can see the who, what, and when of the data that you're sharing.

So file sync is designed with an intuitive three step setup. We can automate sync scheduling for ease of use. We have version control, secure data transfer, and we support a broad range of platforms-- Autodesk Stocks, BIM 360, Procore, SharePoint, OneDrive, Windows, and more.

So some of the key benefits include business continuity through backups, increasing productivity by automating manual tasks, enhancing collaboration with real time visibility, and cost saving by eliminating the need for additional software licenses, so by keeping people in the platforms that they use on a day to day basis and syncing data to them. The product itself is ideal for architects, engineers, construction and manufacturing teams, especially those using ACC or Procore.

MANUEL LIEDOT: Can we say it's almost for everybody?

STUART SMITH: Yeah, I think that is the point. And then we've got one of our customers, Kirsty Hogg, who is a technical BIM lead at Cundall's in the UK. And she found that File Sync significantly streamlined their processes by automating file sharing and backups, which enabled them to reduce a lot of manual effort. And it ensured their data was easily managed.

MANUEL LIEDOT: Thank you. Thank you very much, Stuart. Thank you. Thank you very much. And thank you very much to all the great presenters. So we are at the end of this session. I hope you enjoyed. And as you have understood, so we are trying to help you to create, be as most efficient as possible for creating the model, for automating the simulation, in order to optimize the model at best, to bring those models to fabrication, and, ideally even, take fabrication constraints into account when we do simulation because we have some connections here that we didn't show today.

And we do more-- we have more and more solutions to deal with data because in this industry, it's exponential, the creation of the data is exponential. So we need, at that point, to manage this data.

If you want, of course, that was super short and super fast for some products. Hopefully you understood the concept. If you want to go further, we encourage you to flash those QR codes in order to continue the journey, go on the website, and hopefully answer your questions. Thank you very much for attending this session. And we were very happy to be on Autodesk University 2024. Thank you.
