NICK PRATO: Welcome, everyone, to this 2024 AU class, Stacking the Odds-- Stronger Cost Management with the Right Tech Stack, with Coe Clancy, Grant Hansen, Georgia Loadholt, and myself, Nick Prato.

Just a second to show our safe harbor statement. This presentation may contain forward-looking statements about the Autodesk product. And, therefore, you should not make any purchasing decisions based on these statements. And I'm just going to leave this slide up here for a couple seconds for anyone to read and review the safe harbor statement.

All right. To introduce myself and the Clancy & Theys team, my name is Nick Prado. I'm a senior implementation consultant with Autodesk. I have been working with Autodesk now for approximately three years. I come from the construction industry. And my primary focus is helping customers implement our Cost Management tool within our Autodesk Construction Cloud platform. And so with that, I'm going to hand it off to some of the Clancy folks to introduce themselves and their roles at Clancy & Theys.

COE CLANCY: Thanks, Nick. My name is Coe Clancy, been with Clancy & Theys for 11 and 1/2 years. Started out in the field as assistant superintendent, worked up to a project manager. And then last year, as part of our ACC implementation process, transitioned over full time as a operations process manager, working full time on implementing ACC with Clancy & Theys.

GEORGIA LOADHOLT: Hi, everyone. My name is Georgia Loadholt. I'm operations analyst with Clancy & Theys. I've been with the company for about a year and a half and in the construction industry for a little over four years. And I am passionate about solving today's construction industry challenges with tomorrow's technology advancements. And I get to do this in my role at Clancy.

GRANT HANSEN: Good morning, everyone. My name is Grant Hansen. I am a project manager for Clancy & Theys out of our Orlando, Florida, office. I'm working with the team here on our implementation of Autodesk for our Cost Management system, and looking forward to giving you guys a view on what we're doing.

COE CLANCY: Little introduction on Clancy & Theys-- general contractor based out of and started in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 1949. Currently have about 450 employees as the entire company. Again, 75 years this year, 75th anniversary. Privately held company. We are a third-generation family company. This year, really the last couple of years, to transition to non-family owners. So employees have become owners in the company.

Current locations, like I said, started in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 1949. Wilmington was our first satellite office, about 1985, 1986, I believe. Then Charlotte, North Carolina, and Newport News, Virginia, Orlando, Florida, and, very recently, Greenville, South Carolina. Consistently in the top 200 ENR rankings. Here's our rankings over the last three years. Also happy to announce that this year, in 2024, we broke the ceiling of global rankings. So we're now number 250 globally for general contractors.

GEORGIA LOADHOLT: We're excited to be with you all today. And here's a look at what we're going to cover during today's presentation. We're going to start off by laying the foundation of Cost Management at Clancy & Theys, where we've been and where we're headed. That will lead us to discussing how we selected Autodesk Construction Cloud Cost Management as our financial project management provider.

And then we're going to jump into some tools in our toolbox that we have at Clancy that integrate with our Cost Management system. And lastly, we're going to wrap it up and show you how they all work together.

So during today's call, we hope that you'll learn how to apply the presented plan to integrate your most powerful technology stack. We hope you discover the key functions of Cost Management software and determine which are the most important for your company. And lastly, we want you to discover up-to-date real-time cost information for making decisions.

Let's get to it. Let's talk about laying the foundation here at Clancy & Theys. So in 2013, we embarked on a search and evaluation of an enterprise resource planning software. After about two years, we began implementing Viewpoint Vista to modernize our accounting system and provide a project management system.

Over the years, Viewpoint Vista did not develop as we planned for a project management system. There are a ton of just inefficiencies we saw in the platform in terms of project management. Great for accounting, but user interface is a little slow. Double data entry, more that we'll jump into. So because of those, it led us to jump into a search and evaluation for a project management software beginning in 2023.

So I hit on a couple inefficiencies we had with Viewpoint Vista from a PM software perspective. We're going to dive a little bit deeper. So we experienced fragmented processes, inefficiencies, such as double data entry. We had technology sprawl. Our systems were not integrated and speaking to one another, which led to double data entry, data silos, your user interfaces. We weren't sharing data. Had a lot of technology in our tech stack, a lot of double data entry.

What we're looking for is something scalable. Coe spoke on it earlier when introducing the company, but we've grown tremendously within the past couple years. And we were looking for software that could grow with us, specifically something that would be cloud-based.

So what we did, we conducted a survey of our employees, which is how we developed these business problems we were solving for. We also knew that each employee maybe had a little bit different interest at heart and things that were most important to them with the project management software. So we developed a weighted average matrix. Our committee had 100 points to distribute across different tools that you would find in a PM software.

What I think is interesting about this for the sake of this presentation is Cost Management and a Vista integration was top of the chart. So when we were looking at project management softwares, we consistently had conversations around Cost Management, took a lot of deep dives into different cost management platforms, met with a lot of different integration specialists. So this was of the utmost importance for us during this search process.

So, obviously you can guess, we did select Autodesk Construction Cloud Cost Management. Here are a couple reasons why, and you'll learn why we selected it further into the presentation as well when we speak about how we use it. But it's collaborative. The system we were using did not allow us to collaborate, get owners, get subcontractors, other Clancy teams involved in the system.

So ACC Cost Management-- collaborative. Interoperable-- I spoke on this earlier, but we are able to connect Vista Viewpoint, which is our ERP accounting system, into Autodesk Construction Cloud. I look forward to covering that more in the future. Automatic workflows-- no longer need double data entry.

It's accessible-- user interface, a lot more intuitive. It's cloud based, easy access. And then, lastly, flexible and customizable. We are proud Vista users, and our ERP is highly customizable, so we were looking for a cost management solution that would allow us to integrate some of these customizations.

NICK PRATO: All right, let's jump in now into the Cost Management tool specifically within the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform. So within the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform, we have a wide range of tools available to customers to manage their entire life cycle of the construction process. And so you can start in design and estimating, and take that project all the way through to close-out within the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform.

And we can see on my screen, we have Autodesk BIM Collaborate, Autodesk Takeoff, Autodesk Build. And the tool in which we're going to be focusing on specifically in this presentation is the Cost Management platform within Autodesk Build. And this tool is what allows PMs, what allows individuals at Clancy & Theys, in this case, manage the operations phase of the project and manage those financials.

It allows them to handle contract management, change orders, and payment applications and so on. And I'm going to show a little bit more detail on the next slide here. And so, I go to the next slide here. Let's talk about the cost-management-related workflows that can be handled inside of our platform.

So you can manage budget management, contract management, so subcontractor contracts, purchase orders, professional service agreements, the different types of contracts that we see within a typical construction management project. We can handle our entire change management or change-order life cycle within Cost Management, along with payment applications via upstream to a client as well as downstream to subcontractors as well.

And then we can handle all the other additional cost and actual costs that are incurred on a project within the expense management. And then lastly, we have our forecasting. So it's so important in today's ever-changing financial world of construction that you're able to accurately forecast your project and determine what is my cash flow coming in and going back out on a monthly basis, on a project or weekly. It can vary depending on the project type.

Now let's dive in a little bit further into customization at your fingertips. Georgia talked earlier a little bit about the customization needed for Clancy & Theys. They have a highly configurable Vista environment, and, therefore, they needed a highly configurable and customizable platform with their cost management. And we have that capability. And what you see on my screen is actually all of the different tools within Cost Management that can be customized.

So we can customize terminology. We can customize number formats, all the things that customers really need. Because, at the end of the day, as a senior implementation consultant, I can talk to 10 different construction companies and they handle their construction financials on a project all differently. And so our customization and configurability allows all of those different customers, such as Clancy & Theys here in this presentation, to be able to adopt the cost management platform to suit their needs.

One area I want to dive into in a little more detail, that I'm going to show an example of Clancy & Theys case, is our document templates. And so our document templates are highly configurable and highly customizable. And so what you're going to see on my screen here is a short video showing some examples of our document templates within Cost Management.

We have Word and Excel files that are fully accessible to our customers to build their own templates. They can also utilize a resource like myself, as an implementation consultant, to help them configure those document templates. And so you're seeing some examples of payment applications and some change-order documents through that short video that you just saw. We also can configure contracts. So your subcontracts, purchase orders, we can configure those as well in addition to the payment applications and those change orders that you saw on my screen.

Let's dive into a use case with Clancy & Theys. So what you'll see on my screen is the left-hand side of my screen is a Clancy & Theys owner change order that was printed out of their ERP Vista, in this case. And Clancy wanted to continue to keep that formatting inside of Cost Management.

And so because of our highly configurable Word or Excel document templates that we have, you can see on the right-hand side of my screen is the Clancy & Theys owner change order document template that I helped them configure, but now Clancy can also configure in the future themselves if they want to.

They can edit themselves. They don't need to come back to me to help configure that. They have the full access and capability to do it themselves. But you can see here, because of that flexibility, we were able to make that cost management document template look almost identical to the Vista template.

And so what we're going to see now, this is a short video showing the owner change order being generated inside of Cost Management. And so this video is about to show you that Clancy & Theys document template being generated inside of Cost Management, so showing that we can indeed configure that Vista formatting inside of our platform and make it look identical. And so you'll see it's just going to take maybe 10 to 20 seconds to possibly generate. And then I can go ahead and I can download this document template here and show you what it looks like.

And so now we can see here the Clancy & Theys document template's been generated with all of the data from that owner change order. And it looks, again, almost identical to the Vista formatting that they are used to and helping those PMs be consistent with what they've done in the past.

With that, I'm going to go ahead now and hand it back to Georgia, here, to talk a little bit about Vista and our integration partner, Morpheus.

GEORGIA LOADHOLT: Thanks, Nick. So when we started the project management software search, there was one clear directive, or a few clear directives, but one that stood out of, hey, we are not leaving our ERP system. Our ERP system will remain Viewpoint Vista. That is a clear directive, and that was something we had to begin to figure out how Viewpoint Vista fit into our project management software.

As Nick kind of showed, by going all in on Autodesk Construction Cloud, we can keep a lot of data, a lot of the same information within one system and link issues to Cost Management. And so that was really important to us. We linked documentation, staying within this cradle-to-grave Autodesk Construction Cloud system.

As we've noted, our Vista was highly configurable, so we went to the market to look for an integration partner. So that's how we kicked off our Cost Management partnership with Autodesk, was by working with them to select a vendor and a partner to help us integrate our systems. We landed on Morpheus.

And one of the reasons we picked them, out of a lot of reasons, was because they had the experience, they had the resources, and they had the plan. They've done this before. We did a lot of reference calls during this period, had a lot of meetings with Morpheus, explaining our Vista to them and our setup and what we were looking for, met with other clients of Morpheus.

But what really stood out was the plan. And so, as you can see on your screen, I'm not going to dive into it. You can look at it. We'll speak a little bit more onto it as we move forward. But this is our schedule of work. We worked with the Morpheus team to develop this. But I strongly suggest using an integration partner recommended by Autodesk that partners with Autodesk.

Morpheus is incredible. They have the experience. They are able to improve our collaboration, keep accounting in our ERP system, provide project managers with that better user interface, that is Autodesk Construction Cloud Cost Management, but seamlessly integrate the data, keep it real time, and increase our collaboration.

COE CLANCY: Yeah, so exactly with that, and the reason we're doing all this is, Clancy & Theys, as we grow and as we take a look at all of our current processes, taking a brand-new fresh look at standardizing and centralizing everything. So it really was a no-brainer to use Cost Management. Morpheus stepped in to be able to make that connection. Vista for Clancy & Theys isn't going anywhere in terms of accounting-- keeping, and things like that.

Take a little bit of a look here at what we were doing before we made this step, and what it looked like to use Vista and really just highlight how much better things are going to be and easier they're going to be for us. So previous to implementing Cost Management, we had ACC for all project management, documentation management, all of our RFI submittals, issues, as you can see here in ACC.

So making that connection, producing change orders and things like that from ACC was kind of a clunky process. You would literally have to create multiple files, export them, import them, spit stuff out from Vista to give a finished product. ACC also, as we've said, is cloud based. Our Vista workflow was remote PC. I'm not sure the technical term for that. But basically have to log in to connect to that computer that's running Vista remotely each time.

I'll show it in a few other slides here. But that meant exporting documents from Vista, pretty big pain. ACC Cost Management-- all the files are already there. As we said, and you can see the snapshot on the lower left there, this is actually what you see when you're creating a change order within Cost Management. You can pull all those references directly from ACC.

Another thing with Vista, it is a very hardy software. It's a little technical. So in a lot of cases, our project managers were relying on project manager assistance or project accountants to actually do the heavy lifting within Vista. There's a lot of accounting jargon within it, things like that. Again, great at what it does, but not the best software for cost management for the masses. Next.

All right, so I did have to redact a few things from this. But as you can see, this is what it looks like to enter a payment application in Vista. Again to the note of, looks like you can do a lot of stuff there. However, it's just a little too much for your average project manager who's trying to get the pay app out. Maybe it's four o'clock on a Friday or something like that. You click the wrong button, you're going to have a bad time. Especially if you're a PX or project manager on multiple projects, a little bit of a headache to get through this process. Go ahead.

Exporting documents-- so because you are logged in to a remote computer, you have to basically export to that remote computer or a shared file with that computer or go through a whole bunch of files to get to your actual computer that you're using it on. Obviously, with Cost Management, very easy. Your files are all centralized, even with the desktop connector, even easier. Go back one, to the change orders. Thank you.

Change orders-- this is exactly what you see. So a lot of boxes to check here. There are a couple of accounting terminology things in here. If you put your value in the wrong box, you're going to take the money from the completely wrong place. Again, a lot of info here if you're really adept at using it. But just a little overwhelming for most people.

Reports-- so this is something Autodesk is working on currently, going to implement new updates coming out. But our old way of doing reports and sorting down and filtering data in cost was rather technical. We actually had to produce individual reports for everything. And then you had to know what it was called to find it. So just wanted to show this slide.

What this is going to look like in Cost Management is going to just be severely easier coming in the future here, with some updates, really just what you need and not what you don't.

Drawing log-- so just highlighting how fragmented it was before we made the switch to having Cost associated with ACC in our project management software. We were actually housing our drawing logs in Vista. So that required a whole lot of essentially double data entry and things like that. Obviously with ACC, not really cost related, but we don't have to worry about this anymore.

NICK PRATO: Let's talk about another tool within Clancy & Theys' toolbox here, and that is GCPay. Now, before I talk about GCPay, you all might be wondering, well, I showed the cost management platform just a little bit ago, and I talked a little bit about payment applications, does that not have a tool in order to handle subcontractor payment applications? And indeed it does.

So within our Cost Management platform, we do have a cost payment application tool that allows you to easily manage all the subcontractors' monthly billings and monthly payment applications. And you can see that in my screenshot there. There is a cost payment application tab within our Cost Management tool. And you can see a slight example there of what a cost payment application might look like inside the platform.

It's a great way for customers to manage cost payment applications for subcontractors. And it's a tool that a lot of customers like. It's very easy to use. But it's not always as robust enough of what customers need to use. And that's really where GCPay comes in, is GCPay is a even more robust subcontractor payment application platform than our Cost Management cost payment application tool.

And I think what we're providing is we're providing two options, depending on a customer's need. Does the customer need the more robust capabilities of a GCPay platform? Or is the payment application tool directly within Cost satisfactory for them? And so we're giving customers both options.

In Clancy's use case, they were actually already using GCPay. And it is, again, a more robust platform. And so, for them, it made sense to stick to GCPay and continue to use that on all of their projects.

And so what you'll see here in this video right now, the cost payment application tool is turned on inside of Cost Management. If a customer was using GCPay, though, we can simply come into to Cost Management, and we can turn that cost payment application tool off. And then customers like Clancy will handle all of those subcontractor billings inside of GCPay. And then utilizing our partner with Morpheus, we'll be able to bring those GCPay numbers and values directly into Cost Management within our expense module, which is the other tab you see on that screen there.

GRANT HANSEN: What is GCPay? So GCPay, like Nick was pointing to, is just another piece of our tech stack that we're using here at Clancy. It allows us to have a web-based platform for searching and finding the subcontractor payment applications, approving those payment applications, and then tracking those all the way through the payment process. A few stats on screen about GCPay and how robust the company is and what they've been doing in the industry.

Why Clancy uses GCPay-- so one of the things we really love about it is time. So everybody's busy when a project is in full swing. Your time is just demanded everywhere-- subcontractor issues, anything that's happening on site. So what we found with GCPay is the really creative way for us to keep from manually dealing with subcontractor invoices.

When a project starts, we're able to take a subcontractor, load them through our ERP system into GCPay, which gives us the ability to-- them, have a web-based billing platform, so they can go in, create billings on the monthly, where we can approve them. A

Couple other things it helps us with is it helps us with unapproved billings. It helps us keep the subcontractor schedule values locked. So subcontractor can't edit their schedule of values without our input. It also keeps them from trying to bill for unapproved change orders, as we control the ability to move the schedule values.

A couple of other items that it really helps our team with is compliance. Through our ERP, it's able to hold data out that it knows-- insurance, whether somebody has executed a contract, whether somebody has executed change orders, whether change orders have been approved or disapproved. And then one of the final items we're using it for is lien waiver tracking.

So depending on your state, depending on the requirements of law in each state, lien waivers can be a huge deal for a project. And having to go have notarized documents from first, second, and third tier subcontractors, in some cases, GCPay creates a vault for those, where those can be uploaded directly by the subcontractor approved and reviewed by us.

Just to add on a couple of things, why we like GCPay-- the items in green are items that GCPay allows us to go above and beyond our Autodesk Construction Cloud. So I hit on some of these items in the previous slide, but it gives us a little bit better tracking for compliance and a better way of tracking lien waivers.

And then also GCPay gives us the ability to make ACH transfer payments directly to our vendors through the platform. So it's kind of cradle-to-grave for billing, where our subcontractors are able to bill and then follow it all the way through to that invoice has been paid.

Some more items we really adore about GCPay is just the reports it gives us. There's a plethora of reports you're able to pull out of the system there. One of my favorites is one that we call the monthly cost bundle report, which gives you the ability to approve a month's worth of payment applications from subcontractors and vendors.

From there, you're able to export all of those schedule values, lien waivers. You're able to filter that information down to stored material or retainage, and provide your clients with the adequate amount of backup so the project can be paid for that specific payment application.

Also, some of the reports it gives us-- it'll give us where somebody is at in their billing curve, and then where we are at with making payments to subcontractors, and then easily accessible to retrieve lien waivers for our clients from any vendors that are attached to that project.

Just a quick view of what it looks like from project management side-- so, on a monthly basis, you're able to see when a subcontractor bills. It will tell you, reading it left to right, who billed, which payment application this is for them. You can view their payment application. You can view their waivers. Then you can see what status is in it. Has this payment application been approved? Has it been rejected? Is it just submitted and we need to go in and approve it?

And then, on the far right, the green dollar sign will indicate have we actually made a payment to the subcontractor for this payment application? So kind of helps you have one consolidated view for being able to reference information and look for the information you're trying to provide on billings and resolve it with the subcontractor, because they have the ability to basically look at their same view for their company.

Just to talk through how GCPay integrates with our ERP system, so we can set vendors up. They will pull directly into GCPay. Same with projects-- projects are pushed directly in. Subcontractor SOVs, you can invite them from GCPay, set up their SOVs.

From there, all of the compliance from our ERP will push into GCPay. So you have more of a consolidated dashboard to review. But also when you're looking inside of a specific vendor, you can see what their status is on the project. Is their insurance current? Are they compliant with all requirements of the contract that we have asked them to be?

GCPay also gives you a view into which change orders have been approved, what the status of those change orders are, have they been paid? And then that kind of goes down to payment status and lien waivers as well, lien waivers tying into compliance.

Do we have an approved lien waiver from this person? If we do, does that give them the green light that we can pay them or a red light that, hey, we can't pay this person at this time because we have not been given the proper lien waivers.

NICK PRATO: All right, so let's talk a little bit about what we've seen so far in the presentation. So we've talked about a few different tools in the Clancy & Theys toolkit. And we can see that here. We have Autodesk Construction Cloud, specifically the Cost Management platform. We have Vista Viewpoint, their ERP or accounting system. And then we have GCPay. GCPay, that platform can manage all the subcontractor payment applications and billings.

And so you might be thinking, well, how do these all interact and communicate together? And this is a little bit how those all come together and form a complete solution for Clancy & Theys. So if we're starting out in Autodesk Cost Management, and we were to write a subcontract, that data can then flow from Cost Management into Vista. And our partner, Morpheus, is able to do that via the integration that they've built for Clancy & Theys.

From there, once that data is in Vista, that contract data can then flow into GCPay from Vista and have that contract set up inside of GCPay via the integration between GCPay and Vista. From there, subcontractors, as Grant just talked about, can go into GCPay. They can handle their monthly billings inside of there. And then because of that direct integration between GCPay and Vista that we just saw on the previous slide, that data can go into there.

And then from Vista, we can then take that data, again, taking into account we have Morpheus, who has built that integration. We can take that payment application data and push that into Cost Management into our expense module, so that all actual costs are up to date for those project managers at Clancy & Theys out in the field.

So this diagram really represents that full, complete integrated platform between all three tools and Clancy & Theys' toolbox here.

Now, there's one other tool that we have integrated with Cost Management and is a part of Clancy & Theys' toolbox. And that is an integration between Cost Management and DocuSign. And so at Autodesk, we have a platform very similar to what Morpheus offers, and that is called Autodesk Construction Cloud Connect.

And with that, it's essentially a middleware platform that allows us to have a no-code environment for customers to develop recipes, if they are savvy enough, or someone like one of our Autodesk integration engineers can help build those recipes for them inside of Autodesk Construction Cloud Connect. And on the left-hand side of my screen, you can see an example of a recipe within Autodesk Construction Cloud Connect.

And one of the most valuable common use cases is e-signatures. And that's where DocuSign comes in. DocuSign is an e-signature platform that we can integrate directly with Cost Management.

COE CLANCY: So when we started talking about Cost Management with Clancy & Theys, we also realized that we were using DocuSign kind of sporadically. So some offices were using it. Some weren't. We learned about this DocuSign integration, decided to go ahead and purchase it-- again, standardized, centralized, everything. So with Cost Management, implementing the DocuSign integration, all of our subcontracts, change orders, pay apps that you see on there, we'll use the DocuSign integration.

So these are just documents or digital documents until they're signed. Utilizing DocuSign is that authentication process. On the next slide, show how that works. So again, all digital. It's automatic. As soon as you create that subcontract or that change order and you submit it to be reviewed by whoever you're sending it to, that goes out as a DocuSign document.

It will be sent as a DocuSign notification and not an Autodesk Construction Cloud email, so they'll know it's something else. As we all know, you can do that on your phone, your iPad, your laptop, whatever it is. So if it's a time-critical document, people will be receiving these wherever they are, digitally sign it, and, again, all automated. So as soon as they sign it, Cost Management will know that. And we can execute the document.

Another great part of this entire ecosystem is that all the documents are housed within Cost Management, within ACC. So the document you sign via DocuSign is already in your project. Once they sign, it comes back from DocuSign-- executed contract, executed change order is already there waiting for you.

NICK PRATO: All right. So let's revisit, now, this diagram that we just saw a few slides ago. So now where does DocuSign fit in here? So if I show this here, we have DocuSign now. And that's basically a integration with Cost Management, as Coe just talked about, and contracts, change orders. All those different documents can be sent directly out of Cost Management using our Autodesk Construction Cloud Connect platform.

They get signed in DocuSign and then they can flow back to Cost Management automatically and store inside of there with that executed, a copy of the document. And so this diagram really represents, now, that full, complete, integrated suite of tools that Clancy & Theys uses. And so we have DocuSign, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Cost Management, Vista, and GCPay. And while they are all separate tools, separate platforms, they all can be seamlessly integrated and talking to each other and having a fully customized platform for Clancy & Theys.

The last portion of the presentation that I want to talk about here is having an implementation plan when you're going to implement a wide variety of tools, such as we've seen during this presentation, and ensuring you have a smooth rollout. And so you might all be wondering why I was on this call with Clancy & Theys. So we have these great folks here from Clancy presenting, and then we have myself, a senior implementation consultant at Autodesk.

And I have had the privilege of helping Clancy & Theys through their implementation process of Cost Management and these different suite of tools that we see here today. And it's super valuable to ensure that you have a plan in place to make sure that the customer is being able to roll out these products in a smooth manner, in a timely manner, and making sure that everyone at the company is getting trained up properly when you're rolling out these tools.

It can be a big shift, as someone like Clancy, who came just from using Vista to now using all of these products together as a single-platform solution. And so this is very important, that you work with someone and have a true partnership like Clancy & Theys and Autodesk has to ensure this smooth rollout. And so what you'll see on my screen, this is an implementation plan that was utilized with Clancy & Theys.

I also like to utilize this with many of my other customers as well. And we really like to take a four-phased approach in that we like to go through some initial setup and discovery and understanding Clancy & Theys' needs, making sure, then, we are going to step 2 and training Clancy on these new tools, such as Cost Management, ensuring that they have a good understanding of the platform of Cost Management.

And then, from there, once we do that initial training, we can roll into phase 3, and that is working with our integration partners, such as Morpheus, to help build out that integration between, in this case, Vista and Cost Management with Clancy & Theys. From there, then, we like to go into a go-live, where we start to roll it out, and we start to help train all the Clancy & Theys project managers, and teammates. And that can be done via remote or on-site training, depending on a customer's preference.

So if I'm looking at a timeline of activities of the implementation with Clancy, we go through that initial training. This is that phase 2 of the implementation plan, going through each Cost Management module, ensuring they understand the new tool that they'll be using.

From there, then, we go into that phase 3, that integration phase. So working with our partner Morpheus to build out that integration between Vista and Cost Management, integrating the testing data from live projects, and then deploying some production projects to ensure the integration is working seamlessly and smoothly to Clancy & Theys' needs.

Once we've configured and ensured the data is all transferring back and forth seamlessly, we want to then roll into that phase 4 and that go-live timeline. And in this case, with Clancy & Theys, they have gone with a multitude of on-site days that we can use or we've used to train the PMs and other Clancy & Theys staff members. Again, this go-live could be remote or virtual as well, depending on a customer's preference. But in Clancy & Theys' case, we're doing on-site days, to be able to work in person, have that connection between the different team members, live and on site.

And with that, that wraps up our Cost Management class here today. I thank you all for watching our class. And I hope you all had a good AU 2024.
