- Alex BelkoferBio: As a regional leader and national collaborator at McCarthy, Alex is responsible for the overall strategy, implementation, and execution of the virtual design and construction (VDC) lifecycle process between all project stakeholders. From corporate office to construction site, the VDC Team promotes, trains and guides McCarthy Project Teams through VDC processes/practices over the course of a building’s design and construction lifecycle. Alex works closely with Project Directors, Project Managers, Owners, and A/E partners to establish early expectations and project deliverables at all project phases. Alex is a key contributor serving on McCarthy’s National VDC Leadership Group to enhance the delivery and consistency of VDC/BIM-enabled strategies and best practices company-wide. Education: Dual Degree – Architecture + Construction Systems Management | The Ohio State University
- SAShelby AquinoShelby has a background working in healthcare, science & technology, and corporate interiors as a licensed architect. As a Cal Poly graduate from San Luis Obispo, she earned a minor in Construction Management which aided her in her past roles as VDC engineer and BIM coordination specialist. Shelby’s design background and generally curious personality has provided useful in vetting the heart of an issue and solving it in a scalable, systematic way. Though her strongest programs are Revit & AutoCAD, Shelby has made it a point to learn and experiment with a wide variety of Autodesk and non-Autodesk programs, always looking for the most efficient work flows and solutions. Because of this, she is excited to help move BIM 360 and Autodesk’s innovative thinking into forefront of the AEC industry. Shelby currently lives in San Francisco and enjoys hiking, backpacking, and running with her lab-mix, Makita.
