This Building Information Modeling (BIM) management class is designed for CAD and BIM professionals, project managers, and other technical and management professionals who want to obtain the relevant knowledge and skills that are required to set up a company BIM deployment plan and BIM project execution plan and protocol. We will explore everything from making the transition from CAD to BIM, to defining roles and structuring teams. We'll also touch on common issues that arise in BIM projects and we'll show how crucial it is to have someone there to take care of them.

- PMpaul morrisonPaul Morrison offers consultation, training, technical support, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) integration services through PROCAD Consultants, an Autodesk Value Added Reseller and Training Center located in Montreal, Quebec. These services include setting up projects and coaching users, BIM managers, business owners, and so on. Paul has over 5 years of hands-on experience with both BIM and traditional CAD applications. In the last 3 years alone, he has given over 3,500 hours of specialized BIM training. Very dedicated to the cause of intelligent design, Paul is proud to have helped many large firms start and complete migrations from conventional CAD design systems to the BIM design process.
Éric BernierEric Bernier is a BIM pioneer in Québec, working in BIM and Revit since 2002, before Revit was acquired by Autodesk. Architectural technologist by trade, Eric understood the importance of this technology shift early and was drafted by an Autodesk reseller in 2007 and founded the Quebec BIM User Group in 2008. BIM growing in montreal, he decided to found his BIM consultancy firm in 2009 who employed at its peek 14 employees, delivering services like BIM consultancy, coaching, implementation, training, support, Project management (BIM), etc. He had the chance to work on multiple projects like Hospitals, universities, government buildings etc. International speaker and a reckognized BIM leader in the french industry, he also has spoken to conferences like Autodesk University (course on BIM execution plan), and also at RTC in Dublin on Revit coordinates. Mr. Bernier is now with Graitec, an international Autodesk reseller, working as Technical director, managing a growing BIM team.
