Fall is in the air, and the leaves are at peak color here in Manchester, New Hampshire. That also means it is time for Autodesk University Las Vegas. As I write this, final preparations are taking place to make it another fantastic AU in Las Vegas, November 13-15, 2018.
Whether you have never been or are a seasoned veteran, AU is a terrific place to network with peers in your industry, meet vendors, and talk with Autodesk employees, as well as learn new skills to advance your career. You have 3 full days to geek out over everything related to the world of designing and making. If you have never been to AU, I highly recommend it. After your first AU, you will make it a must-attend every year.
If you are coming this year, I want to personally invite you to come and meet with my colleague Patty Gale and me at the Autodesk Idea Exchange. The Idea Exchange is where you can meet with product and design teams to share ideas on what’s working, what’s missing, and how we can help you be successful.
Patty and I will be doing research to better understand how you want to find out about new features and functionality in the new software releases. The name of our study is What’s New: What’s my Size? Take 20 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of AU to:
- Tell us what is the right amount of information you need when learning about what’s new.
- Give us feedback on a prototype designed to make finding What’s New information easier.
Stop by the Idea Exchange, find our study, and let Patty and me know what you think. It will be located in the corridor headed to the Expo Hall, near where breakfast is served, so you can’t miss it.
In addition to our What’s New study, the Autodesk Idea Exchange hosts all kinds of other opportunities for you to talk with Autodesk employees working on all aspects of our products. There are many other opportunities to give feedback on anything that is important to you. Autodesk values customer feedback. We use it to make our solutions better and give you the most value from your software investment.
At the very least drop by, introduce yourself, and say hi. If you don’t catch me at the Idea Exchange, you may also find me at the Answer Bar, just walking around AU, or at my class, BLD226499 “A Little Help From My Friends: Top Solutions from the Autodesk Revit Forums.” No matter where you spot me, come up and say hello. I love meeting our customers! And if we don’t meet, have a great AU this year, grow your network, and take back great information on ways to get the most out of your Autodesk software.
See you in Vegas!
