Autodesk ReCap Pro keeps getting better

This is the update you’ve been waiting for. Autodesk® ReCap™ Pro has always been dedicated providing AEC professionals the best experience for project reality capture data handling, registration, and visualization capabilities. Last year, we delivered the capability to share RealView 360 images via the Autodesk cloud environment. Following the great show of interest in that capability, and based on requests from customers, we now venture on enabling customers to share point cloud data on the Autodesk cloud.

Introducing Autodesk Docs point cloud viewer

With ReCap Pro 2023, you can now share large reality capture project data with other users via Autodesk Docs to facilitate more effective visualizations, presentations, and inspection workflows in the field. Once published, you can view and markup point clouds and 360 RealViews of these projects in a browser. This capability is a great addition and foundational to cloud-based workflows for reality capture data.

A more powerful design coordination workflow

This cloud-based, browser-supported capability helps extend reality capture processes to the design authoring tools you use every day, like Civil 3D and Revit. It also supports Forge review/comment capabilities like measurement tools, annotation tools, sharing, and sync, providing powerful project coordination capabilities that help to keep project stakeholders on the same page.
