We’re thrilled to share an exciting and highly anticipated release with customers and businesses in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Today, Autodesk is expanding its Data Exchange support to the EMEA region, enabling you to seamlessly share and integrate data across your preferred tools – as well as control where you store and manage your exchanged data.

Enhanced data connectivity and control

Data Exchanges go beyond traditional file sharing workflows to offer better interoperability and collaboration between your teams and the apps you rely on to complete your work – without the hassle of dealing with entire design model imports and exports.

Since our first release last year, we’ve heard from many global and EMEA-based customers emphasizing the importance of extending support beyond US-based Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) hubs – which, up until now, was the only supported region for Data Exchange. In some cases, your project or regulatory environment may require you to base your data within a specific region. In other cases, you may work with partners in multiple regions and want to share design data with them, across geographic boundaries. With this release, we have taken a significant step toward expanding our reach. You can now create, update, store, share, and manage your exchanges within your EMEA-based hubs.

Getting started with Data Exchange in your EMEA hub

You can start using Data Exchanges in your EMEA region right away. When using our app connectors, make sure to activate them as integrations via your ACC account admin (with the exception of the Revit Connector, which requires no activation). If you’re ensure  how to enable integrations to ACC, follow the steps in this community forum post.
