Hello everyone,
Today, we are releasing a new update for Revit 2024 which addresses the schema issues affecting add-ons and projects upgraded to Revit 2024. This is an important update for all Revit 2024 users across all versions, and we recommend that everyone using a 2024 version update as soon as possible.
What you can expect from this update?
To use this update with your projects, please follow the below steps for your work shared project:
- Make sure all project members relinquish all their elements.
- Update to Revit 2024.3 and create a new local file. This fixes the schema issues in the local file and loaded links.
- Unload the links and sync to central.
- For each link, repeat the previous steps, creating a new local file and syncing if the link model is workshared. Or just open the link and save it using Revit 2024.3.
- Reload all links and sync to central.
- Make sure all project members create new local files. The schema issues are resolved even if some project members have not updated to Revit 2024.3 yet, but can be re-introduced if 2024.3 is mixed on a project with others on previous versions
We highly recommend that you do not mix using previous versions of Revit 2024 with 2024.3 on a project. All users working on a project should use 2024.3 together.
