It’s that time of year. Autodesk University starts this week, and we are looking forward to joining everyone who has already registered for the first, global digital event. And don’t worry if you haven’t registered—there is still time, and best of all it’s free.
A few weeks back we summarized some of the not-to-miss AutoCAD classes so be sure to check that out, bookmark the sessions, and add them to your calendar so you don’t miss a single one.
Tune Into the Keynote
Mimi Hoang, Vice President, AutoCAD Strategy & Marketing, and Rob Maguire, Vice President, AutoCAD AEC Design Solutions, will deliver the AutoCAD keynote (which is at the top of the page) will be available starting tomorrow, November 17. Be sure to watch to learn about the importance of data to design, how your CAD software can help you adapt to the new normal, and the impact of a multi-platform workflow.
In addition to the AutoCAD keynote, there are industry keynotes, the general session, theater talks, and more. Check out all of the programming happening on Day One of AU 2020.
Meet With the AutoCAD Team
There are a few ways that you can interact directly with the AutoCAD team.
Join us at the AutoCAD meetup on November 18 at 8:00 a.m. Pacific. The session will be hosted via Zoom and allow attendees to interact with AutoCAD team members. We hope you’ll join us for an interactive session in which you can chat with the product team and join a trivia quiz about the history of AutoCAD. There will even be a giveaway—don’t miss it!
We hope that you take advantage of learning from some of the top AutoCAD users by participating in the number of AutoCAD classes that will be given throughout the week. Some of the classes include a Q&A portion and there are two in particular we recommend attending.
Work in the construction field and use AutoCAD? Be sure to tune into this class to learn about new product features that will reduce the time spent sharing data. You’ll learn how integrations can digitize your daily workflows and bridge the gap between design and construction. And you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions live during a Q&A session on November 18 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific.
If you’re not already using the AutoCAD web app, there is no better time to start than now. Did you know you have free access to the AutoCAD web app (even if you’re not already a subscriber to AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT) with the Web App Program? You don’t want to miss AutoCAD product manager, Kerry Ko’s class to learn all about how to use the AutoCAD web app to benefit your team, and some tricks to make the most of your use – saving you time. Join the Q&A session on November 19 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific.
