No. 8 in the list of top new AutoCAD 2017 features. Forgetting something? AutoCAD software tooltips can be very helpful, to new and veteran AutoCAD users alike, because they help you identify tools you may not have encountered before, or don’t use very often. Now you can specify the number of seconds to delay the display of rollover tooltips when passing the cursor over a UI element. If you rely on tooltips, you can set them to display quickly. If you don’t, don’t. This way you can take advantage of tooltips when you really need them without the distraction of displaying them when you don’t.

Use the new control on the Display tab of the Options dialog box.
