Looking for an easy way to create a Bill of Materials (BOM) and extract that information in AutoCAD? The BOM Extractor app available on the Autodesk App Store may do the trick.
According to the developer Vectre, “Open any drawing with Autodesk AutoCAD blocks. If the blocks have Attributes and Parameters (in the case of Dynamic Blocks), then this information can be extracted using the BOM Extractor to create a BOM.”
Additionally, the app updates the attribute value in the drawing.
