We are excited to share the first article in a new series: Try What’s New in AutoCAD. Our first article covers Markup Import and Markup Assist, which was introduced in AutoCAD 2023 and enhanced in AutoCAD 2024. Markup Import can make markups visible in the context of the drawing, and Markup Assist can help you make appropriate drawing changes based on those markups.
Prior to this feature, you might look at another document (paper or pdf), find a requested change (markup), look back at AutoCAD and navigate to the appropriate place, and finally make the change with accurate drafting and CAD standards.
In this Try What’s New in AutoCAD 2024, we’ll cover:
- Importing a markup from a JPG and PDF file
- Adjusting the markup placement
- Acting on revision cloud markups
- Acting on various types of text markups, including editing existing text and removing text
- Fading markups that don’t require action
Learn how Markup Import and Markup Assist can make markups visible in the context of the drawing and assist you in making the appropriate changes. with the step-by-step examples in Try What’s New in AutoCAD 2024: Markup Import and Markup Assist.
