There’s Nothing Funny About Construction Site Miscommunication… Except for These Cartoons

Some construction mishaps can be comical, as highlighted in our cartoon series

Misunderstandings happen all the time in construction, and sometimes these lead to some interesting mishaps, which inspired our comically-illustrated cartoon series by New Yorker cartoonist, Emily Flake.

To highlight the importance of keeping construction crews aligned from initial designs to finished projects -- and to bring a little bit of humor to your workday -- we collected construction mishap stories from our community, which inspired a series of cartoons from Emily. To keep it lighthearted and maintain privacy, no names, companies, or locations were revealed. Check out all ten illustrations below and let us know in the comments which one was your favorite or if you have another great story to tell!
