India’s oldest construction company was established in 1865. Learn how it’s swiftly adapting to the ongoing advancements in cloud-based common data environment (CDE) platforms for efficiently managing highly fragmented construction data generated on a large-scale project in Mumbai, India. In a traditional setup, more than 200 hours of additional time is spent per month across five functions and 12 roles, leading to multiple layers of duplicity of information and data entry. In an attempt to drastically reduce this time spent, the project team has adopted Autodesk Construction Cloud to create powerful workflows that successfully connect teams across various functions, leading to a significant improvement in data transparency and accessibility, and thus closing the gap between site and the project management office. In this session, discover how throughout the last 18 months the platform has been used to create and manage more than 90,000 assets, 9,000 forms, 6,500 files, 1,000 reviews, 600 transmittals, 500 issues, and 50 RFIs—with very little change management involved.

Contractors with subcontractor default insurance programs face ever increasing risk from varying sectors: COVID-19 recovery, recessionary concerns, and rising costs of supply and labor. Ensuring that projects are awarded to the right subcontractor is paramount to deterring potential defaults. The combination of BuildingConnected and TradeTapp has led to a 90% prequalification rate in advance of award. By working bid packages with operations, risk management can detect potential problems and mitigate in pre-award.

CS2856 | The VINCI and Autodesk 10-Year Partnership: 30,000+ Hours Saved Annually

VINCI—a world leader in concessions, energy, and construction—has been using Autodesk software to help streamline its operations and drive its international expansion. With a platform approach, Revit customizations, and building information modeling (BIM) as a standard practice, VINCI has achieved significant time savings of more than 30,000 hours annually, and captured more business abroad. In Q4, VINCI renewed its fourth Enterprise Business Agreement (EBA) with Autodesk, expanding deployment of Autodesk Construction Cloud on major projects to further integrate data and workflows and ensure a seamless transition from design through construction. Together, the VINCI BIM team and the Autodesk Consulting team improved use of these tools by implementing and improving processes and creating customized plug-ins. The latter allow us to match all needs inside our company, which has lots of different disciplines and as many demands.

CS4457 | Streamlining Qualification: Creating TradeTapp Workflows Using Power Automate

This session will explain how to streamline a qualification process, building on TradeTapp’s functionality by extracting qualification data via API and connecting automated workflows. The session will cover how to use custom connectors in Power Automate to extract data and use Power Automate flows to automatically move, create, and update records in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) or database. By doing so, teams can reduce the amount of time spent on internal recordkeeping management related to qualified vendors—such as AP profiles.
