What Is Autodesk University?

Autodesk University 2022 is a global event that will offer exciting keynotes, interactive workshops, and valuable learning sessions from some of the industry's leading innovators.

Professionals in the construction, design, manufacturing, media, and engineering fields attend Autodesk University each year to connect, trade knowledge, and explore the technologies shaping these converging industries and the world. Each year, the conference explores themes relating to the future of the construction industry and provides excellent educational, professional development, and networking opportunities to attendees.

After being a digital experience for the past two years, we’re excited to get back in person this year to bring together product users, managers, executives, business leaders, and software developers.

What Topics and Themes Will Be Prioritized at AU 2022?

Show us how your work is reimagining what's possible in the construction industry and how you use technology in new ways to foster operational efficiency, respond to disruption, improve quality and safety, cultivate sustainability, and win more business. We want to see proposals from projects of all sizes and from all sides of the industry, including owners, general contractors, and specialty contractors, as well as across segments from infrastructure to education.

This year, we also want to do more than share "how-to" content. We want to learn what insights and strategies you achieved from leveraging technology and innovation. In other words, rather than focusing your proposal on how you did something, broaden your story to share what you achieved, how you made those decisions, and why it matters.

We want to hear from you if you're leveraging solutions within Autodesk Construction Cloud, whether that be Autodesk Takeoff for quantification, Autodesk BIM Collaborate for coordination, or Autodesk Build for project management, cost management, quality, and field collaboration. We'd also love to learn how you are utilizing BuildingConnected for bid and risk management, Pype for workflows like submittals and closeout, and ProEst for estimating.

Key Autodesk University Topics and Themes for Construction

Autodesk University is an opportunity to share your insights, knowledge, and expertise with a huge audience of construction industry professionals. Topics we're looking for speakers to share insights on include:

  • Digital Transformation: What will the future of construction look like, and what steps are you taking to get there? How are you piloting new technologies and workflows to innovate your operations and with whatresults? How are you connecting people, partners, projects, and processes with data? How are you training and upskilling your workforce to adapt to new workflows and changing processes?
  • Platform: What have you achieved by integrating tools across a platform to manage your project lifecycle and improve project delivery? What insights can you share about using the Autodesk Construction Cloud to manage estimation, quantification, bids, and scheduling in project management? How are you using Autodesk Construction Cloud to improve construction site quality, safety, and commissioning processes for field management?
  • Sustainability: Are you utilizing sustainable construction practices such as better material management, prefabrication, and industrialized construction? In what ways are you building resiliency in your workforce, your projects, and your company? How are you using technology to improve the health and safety of construction workers
  • Advancing the Industry: What programs are you building to drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in the construction industry?
