Autodesk Construction Cloud Unified Platform

*=features on both Autodesk Construction Cloud unified platform & BIM 360

API | Files Export API

Through this new API, members on web can now create export jobs and retrieve the exported result. They can also export markups on PDFs from ACC files, selecting between private versus published markups and markup type (i.e. Standard, Issues, and/or Photos). Read this guide to learn how you can implement this API into your workflow.

Issues | @ Mentions in Comments

Web and Mobile users can ‘@’ mention a specific user in the comment field of issues, or a company, or a role. This will notify the user by email and draw their attention to the specific issue.

Bridge | Consolidating ‘Bridged Projects’ and ‘Automations’ Tabs

Rather than using a separate tab to view and manage automations, users will now go directly to the ‘Bridged Projects’ tab. This helps streamline and simplify the user experience.

Library | Consolidate Library Modals

In order to streamline workflows, users will now receive an enhanced and simplified user experience when adding and removing items in the account level Library within Autodesk Construction Cloud’s unified platform.

Reports | Filtering Enhancements

Reports | Filtering Enhancements - Within the Reports tool, users can now filter both the reports log and the templates log. This will help teams be able to easily find the information they need.

Reports | Multi-Part for Large Issue Detail Reports

Prior to this release the Issue Detail report had a limit of 500 issues. This release gives users the ability to generate larger Issue Detail reports with up to 2,500 issues and automatically breaks out the report into multiple parts or files. This allows teams to easily navigate large reports and ensures all issues are accounted for in the report for critical workflows such as punch list.

Reports | Void Reports

Users now can now ‘void’ reports within the Reporting tool in the Autodesk Construction Cloud Platform, meaning they are no longer available to download or share.

Dashboards | Additional Partner Cards

The following partner cards are now available in the Card Library within Insight; ProgressCenter, Ziramba, Kojo, Pillr, T2D2, SiteScape, Constrafor, and Struxi.

Reviews | Add Progress Bar to Review List Page

Autodesk Docs members can now track the stages of each review with a new progress bar, giving them an in-depth view of the information. By utilizing the filter tool, members can also simplify the list view by the current stage of the review.

Reviews | Review Summary Report Enhancements*

Members on web can export a Review summary report and view the document metadata for multiple reviews, such as the number of total files and new file name.

Autodesk Build

Cost Management | Multi-Currency*

The new Multi-Currency functionality in cost management will help better support cost control for companies that procure from suppliers or carry out work in foreign countries.

Cost Management | Display Compliance Requirement Expiration Dates in Overview Table*

A feature enhancement to Compliance, requirement expiration dates can now be displayed in a column in the Contract and Cost Payment Application overview tables. Users can leverage the new date grouping option to quickly see what documents expire when. The expiration date will also be displayed in the calendar view of the home page.

Cost Management | Flexible Rounding Value Options*

Cost management users now have additional flexibility when choosing rounding settings. The options are to round per line, then sum or sum the true values, then round the total. The rounding settings will apply throughout cost management.

Issues | Issue Templates in Projects

Deliver standardized projects quicker through Issue Templates in Projects. Admins within Projects are now able to create, edit, and delete repeatable Issue Templates via the web promoting consistency across their team. Additionally, Project members can now use these Issue Templates to create issues on-site from the web or their mobile device. This eliminates unnecessary steps to speed up issue creation in the field.

Issues | Sheet Overview for Issue Detail Report

Deliver quality projects with reports that help teams to quickly find and resolve project issues in relation to where they are located. When generating an Issue Detail report from within the Reports tool, users will now see an added optional component for ‘Sheet Overview’. The new ‘Sheet Overview’ displays a cover page of the sheet containing issues and shows location pushpins of each issue within the report.

RFIs | Reply to RFI with Attachments

In addition to replying to an RFI by email, external users and project members will also be able to add attachments to this email reply. The attached files will then be added as references to the RFI on the Autodesk Build platform.

Submittals | Closed Submittals Visibility Permissions

Project Admins will be able to set additional submittal permissions. They can set permissions on closed submittal visibility that will either allow all project members to view the closed submittals or limit it to only the team members involved in the workflow.

Meeting Minutes | Add References on Mobile

Users will be able to add and view references to their meetings and meeting items on their iOS devices.

Schedule | Make Schedule Suggestions in iOS [coming soon]

Users with the right permissions can now submit change suggestions in iOS on a schedule activity, helping improve communication between stakeholders. This further expands on the existing ability to view suggestions in iOS. Note: The schedule managers must review, approve or reject the suggestions through the web and the master schedule must be updated in the schedule authoring tool to ensure the latest schedule is imported into Autodesk Build.

Autodesk BIM Collaborate

Design Coordination | @mentions in Design and Coordination [coming soon]

BIM Managers in the comments of Design Collaboration or Model Coordination Issues will soon be able to ‘@’ mention a specific user, company, or role in the comment field. This will notify the user by email and draw their attention to the specific issue.

Autodesk Takeoff

Takeoffs | Default Takeoff Types

Users can now perform takeoff without first selecting a takeoff type. A new Takeoff type with default settings is automatically created when Takeoff items are placed. This enhancement allows users to quickly get started with Takeoff without the need to fill in all the details. The information can still be edited later to add in additional details such as classification systems and additional outputs.

Takeoffs | Variable Takeoff Line-Width [coming soon]

This will allow users to set the line-width for linear Takeoff to help better visualize what has been taken off, especially on busy sheets.

Assemble

Assemble | Power BI Connector Update [coming soon]

The new Microsoft certified Assemble Views connector allows Assemble users to leverage more data within their models to continue to create customizable Power BI reports and dashboards for increased business intelligence.  Users can now select multiple views, whole models, and multiple model versions all at once along with any model properties.

BuildingConnected

Certification Tracking

Subcontractors can add their business enterprise certifications (e.g. disadvantaged, veteran, minority, small business, local) to their profile so that GCs can reliably search, identify, and track diverse partners during the bidding process.

Project History on Sub Profile

GCs can see the project history and list of which projects they have invited the subcontractor to in the past.

BIM 360

*=features on both Autodesk Construction Cloud unified platform & BIM 360

API | Checklist Signature API

Now simplify and expedite legal and compliance approvals with the Checklist Signature API. This feature for BIM 360 updates our existing Checklist API to include section and final signatures while printing. These printed signatures help meet legal and contractual customer obligations that require hard copy records.

Checklists | Checklist Sync Error

Understand errors in critical workflows like capturing and syncing data from the field. Whether due to connection, incorrect permissions, or a problem with a checklist signature, items and checklists may not sync properly.

Daily Logs | Detail Report

Develop better project insight through the Daily Logs detail report. Non-admins with access to Field Management can now create a Daily Log Detail report from within the Daily Logs Module. View project, weather, and labor information without permission restrictions to increase team collaboration and efficiency.

Reviews | Review Summary Report Enhancements*

Members on web can export a Review summary report and view the document metadata for multiple reviews.
