***= features in both Autodesk Docs and Autodesk Build

  • Admin Console | Activity Log During our last release, we enabled a beta for the native Activity Log, an in-product log that provides an audit trail of all activities across Autodesk Construction Cloud workflows. In addition to the Admin and Docs activities available during the beta, users will now have access to Issues and Sheets activities, additional Docs activities as well as additional filters.
  • Bridge | File Versioning for Non-Automated Shares – When sharing newer versions of files via Bridge, the file now replaces the older version in the receiving project rather than creating a duplicate version, helping teams work with the most up-to-date versions of their documents within the receiving project(s).
  • Bridge | Import PlanGrid As-Builts – Members can use Bridge to import their existing PlanGrid as-builts into a target folder in their Autodesk Construction Cloud project, helping them share and store their project data in a single platform. This feature is available to customers in a phased approach.
  • Bridge | Message in Shares – When sharing files and sheets with another project, members can add a message about the shared items to provide additional context to recipients, which then appears in relevant emails and on the Detail page.
  • Bridge | Share Files in Packages – With the release of Packages in Files, project administrators and package managers can also share the versioned files within a package via Bridge to other projects and accounts.
  • Data Connector | API Enhancement – When using the Data Connector API, users will now get access to a more granular set of data with the ability to filter and select a specific subset of projects. This release only applies to the Data Connector API, not the in-product tool.
  • Files | Multiple Naming Standards – Now in Autodesk Docs, project administrators can apply more than one naming standard to their projects, as well as edit, copy, and delete the naming standards within the settings of the Files tool.
  • Files | Packages in Files – In the Files tool, members can utilize packages to group their versioned files, helping avoid data duplication and experience more document control. Additionally, teams can also extract packages data via the Data Connector.
  • Files | Packages in Files on Mobile (Beta) – With the release of Packages in the Files tool, members have beta access to their packages on the Autodesk Construction Cloud mobile app. Learn more.
  • Issues | Additional Permission Level  – Maintain issue visibility while enabling new issue workflows. Project administrators can grant a new permission level to enable project members to re-assign issues to other companies without being able to view all issues in a project.
  • Issues | Issue Thumbnail History – Provide visual context to issues while maintaining change history. View all activity history for an issue thumbnail, including previous thumbnail images and their creation details.
  • Issues | Permissions Naming Enhancements – Bring clarity to Issue Permissions with updated permission names that simplify the assignment of project work to members.
  • Markups | 3D Issues on Mobile (Beta) – Conduct punch list walkthroughs in the new model viewer (Beta) by viewing, selecting, deleting, or editing issue attributes for Issues created on web for 3D models on the Autodesk Construction Cloud mobile app.
  • Markups | Measurement Tool Improvements On the Autodesk Construction Cloud mobile app, members can now perform three new measurement tools from the Markups toolbar, such as polyline, freeform area, and polygon area.
  • Markups | Apple Pencil Support On the Autodesk Construction Cloud mobile app, members can now easily use the Apple Pencil to execute the markups workflow along with new gesture support.
  • Markups | Quick References – The markup menu will now include a quick reference selection menu to easily add references to markups, removing multiple steps within the current workflow.
  • Reviews | Auto-trigger Rules (Beta) – Project admins will be able to set automation rules on folders in the Files tool, so any files uploaded to those folders will trigger a Review workflow. This automated workflow will empower teams to have a more connected document management workstream.
  • Reviews | Delete Approval Workflows – Project administrators can now delete inactive approval workflows within Project Templates, helping to keep an organized and up-to-date project.
  • Reviews | Search and Filter Workflows – Project administrators can search and filter their live and draft approval workflows in an active project and project templates.

Autodesk Build

Admins can enable and disable notifications for project members and give them permission to control their own notification preferences.**
  • Cost Management | Advance Payments* In many countries, it's common to pay a percentage of a subcontract in advance, which is recovered throughout the contract lifecycle. Now, Cost Management supports this workflow by allowing users to create advance payments with recoupment settings in Cost Payment Applications.
  • Cost Management | Contract SOV Excel Export and Import* To expedite processes and enhance system flexibility, we have introduced a new feature in the Contract flyout. Now users can directly export the SOV (Schedule of Values) and re-import it to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Cost Management | Cash Flow Flexible Distribution Item Creation* Bringing more flexibility to Cash Flow, Cash Flow now supports different distribution methods for different budgets. For example, some budgets could be summarized for distribution by CSI group budget segment, others by contract, and others by each budget.
  • Cost Management | Approval Workflows: Allow Review Members to Edit in Review Items* We've now added the capability for reviewers to edit documents under review and smoothly progress them to the next stage within all Approval Workflows. This eliminates the necessity to send them back to the originator.
  • Cost Management | Home Page ‘Response Due Tracker’ Card* – Leverage the new 'Response Due Tracker' card on the Home page to stay on top of response deadlines easily. In one place, see overdue items, items due within 7 days, and those coming up after 7 days. Click in to view specific details.
  • Data Connector | Construction KPI Template - Schedule – In addition to the previously released KPI templates for Quality and Cost, users now have access to a new Schedule related Power BI template. These templates can be found in the Template Gallery and give teams a starting point for how to measure performance.
  • Forms | Increased Limits and Options – More informative Forms responses. Project members filling out forms can now provide more context within their responses through additional dropdown options and increased text character limits in responses.
  • Forms | Remove Reviewer – Adapt forms to the workflows you need. Form managers can remove form reviewers.
  • RFIs | RFI Report Link in Email Notifications Under RFI advanced settings, Project Admins will see a new toggle titled Include RFI Report Links in Email Notifications. When turned on, a link to the RFI Detail Report will be included in RFI email notifications. The report is accessible to both project members and non-members involved with the RFI, includes PDF attachments, and does not include the activity log or comments.
  • RFIs | Official Response Attachments RFI Managers and Coordinators can now include attachments as part of the official RFI response, making it easy for end users to know which files are a part of the RFI question and which are a part of the official RFI response.
  • RFIs | Edit Responses RFI Reviewers are now able to edit their submitted response while the RFI is still in review.
  • Schedule | Add References to Planned Tasks – Schedule users will be able to add references to planned tasks, including files, photos, issues, sheets, assets, forms, submittals, RFIs, and cost items. References can help teams clearly communicate and reference critical data to avoid potential problems in the future.
  • Schedule | Disconnect and Reconnect Plans From Schedule Users can disconnect a previously connected plan from the schedule, the disconnected plan can easily be reconnected to an existing schedule.
  • Submittals | Display Removed Member Name  – When a member is removed from a project, the member’s name will still be displayed in Submittal activity, as opposed to “Former member”.

BIM 360

However, users can toggle on the option to create a public link instead. By setting deep links as a default, it helps address security concerns, so it ensures the right people have access to the information from the report.
