We’ve improved Info360 Asset by adding support for new system and asset types, as well as a range of enhancements that makes Info360 Asset more user-friendly when calculating risks and planning for the right asset action.
Viewing water distribution assets
Info360 Asset now supports the visualization of water distribution networks and assets on the map and in individual asset details, respectively. Since the initial launch of Info360 Asset in mid-2021, you have been able to represent your sanitary sewer assets, both pipes and manholes, and associate your CCTV inspections to the relevant assets for quick location of your inspection data.
With this update, you can now connect to and view a new system type, water distribution systems, and a wider range of water distribution asset types, including pipes, hydrants, meters, pumps, valves, tanks, boreholes, fittings, and treatment works, for visualization on the network map.
For an upcoming update, we plan to add expanded ways for you to perform risk analysis and rehab planning for your water distribution network assets.
Modeling risk scenarios
You‘ve always been able to leverage asset data, condition, user-defined tabular data, and GIS layers in Info360 Asset to generate completely configurable likelihood (LoF) and consequence of failure (CoF) models and combine the weighted models to calculate risk.

For example, with risk scenarios, you can keep your initial risk model while refining risk and testing the sensibility and impact of modifying LoF or Cof components on risk results.”
This new risk scenario capability gives you a lot of new flexibility. You can now:
- Modify the weighting factors for LoF and CoF components as well as LoF/CoF ratio
- Replace and assess completely different LoF and CoF components
- Change the scoring of LoF and CoF components
- Remove or create new categories within each LoF and CoF component
- Adjust the risk grading set-up used for the thematic map review of risks
- Employ different risk scenario results within your decision trees
- Visualize various risk scenarios from either the map view or the asset details page
We’ll continue to add more functionality to this feature, with upcoming updates focused on publishing risk model results from a specific scenario to all users of your Info360 Asset workspace and on running scenarios on subsets of your network.
Enhanced rehabilitation planning
We’ve streamlined and have improved the usability of the Rehabilitation Decision Tree functionality, which enables you to prescribe the right actions to develop effective rehabilitation plans.
Now, you can duplicate any existing query and action within the same tree, making it easier for you to build a new decision tree. You can also record any edits of an existing decision tree as a new decision tree scenario. Decision trees can become very intricate with the definition of queries and the number of branches. Rebuilding something similar could take a long time. But now you can easily duplicate an existing tree to modify it without changing your original decision tree.
In addition to these usability enhancements, decision tree queries can now count the total number of defects found in the pipe during the latest survey.

If you want to export your planning results as a CSV report to import it into another system or for your specific use – now you can.
In the works for an upcoming update are ways to filter the total defect count by code for each asset and a way to build queries based on user-defined tables imported into Info360 Asset.
