That’s why we’re excited about our partnership with Transcend. Transcend uses generative design software to accelerate early-stage engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment plants. If you’re involved in building and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants, you know that early-stage design can be an arduous and repetitive process. There can be a lot of rework and trial and error – often without good insights to help you envision your design outcomes.
We think Transcend Design Generator will streamline and accelerate the initial design concept process, giving engineers access to better information about their design decisions – and the trade-offs specific decisions might require.
What good is a generatively designed early concept without being able to take that concept and turn it into design documentation and smart P&IDs? That’s why the outcomes from the Transcend Design Generator include editable design documentation native to AutoCAD and Revit. Taking these design documents into AutoCAD Plant 3D or Revit and beginning detailed design with better information about design outcomes means faster development of water and wastewater treatment plants means more clean water and sanitation services for more people.
