Join us on Wednesdays for The Drainage Download

Last month, we kicked off a new initiative, combining our technical resources from multiple teams to answer customers’ burning questions about drainage design in a live setting. Each week, we’ve been sitting together as a group, tackling subjects from 1D-2D analysis to Civil 3D integration with InfoDrainage, as well as answering questions from attendees — we always make time for questions.

In one month of ramping up this series, without much promotion, this weekly sit-down has grown from a handful of participants to reaching nearly 200 attendees. This tells us that there is interest from the community for a regular drop-in, office-hours-style, live event.

Want to join us? You’re invited.

If you have a passion for drainage design – or if any of these topics pique your interest – you can join us every Wednesday through July. We convene for one hour at 2 pm EST/ 11 am PST every Wednesday, and we encourage you to bring your questions.

Simply sign up to attend, and we’ll send you a reminder email before each Wednesday Drainage Download event.

What we’ve been talking about

Some of the topics we’ve presented this past month include…

Taking your model from InfoDrainage to Civil 3D

Midori Patterson and Louisa Holland show how you can make updates to your pipe network and stormwater controls in InfoDrainage and then bring those changes straight to Civil 3D.

Working with green infrastructure templates in InfoDrainage

Hunter Sparks shows you how to create templates for green infrastructure stormwater controls and incorporate them into a design.

Performing 2D analysis in InfoDrainage

Tim Medearis kicks off a session with a demonstration of how to bring in a surface and run a basic 2D analysis on that surface – and then Ryan Brown and Midori Patterson weigh in to discuss how to best run a pond sizing calculator.
