Today, August 7th, InfoDrainage Standard and InfoDrainage Ultimate are collapsing into one offering – InfoDrainage – delivering superior drainage design and hydraulic analysis capabilities to users in one product. This change means that now all users will have access to our highly-regarded Civil 3D integration, clash detection functionality, and 2D exceedance analysis tools.
Drainage designers, site engineers, and hydraulic modelers now have one offering they can leverage inside of the Autodesk ecosystem of products, alongside Civil 3D as needed, to develop, plan, design, and implement site drainage designs. Additionally, the new InfoDrainage offering is available at a significantly reduced price compared to the former InfoDrainage Ultimate offering, making these tools accessible to more people in the industry. This pricing structure change and the increased functionality made available to all InfoDrainage users is a significant step towards making advanced drainage design tools accessible to everyone.
A big step for drainage designers
InfoDrainage is the culmination of years of work from engineers, hydraulic modelers, our development teams, and industry experts. As a now unified offering, it delivers extensive drainage design capabilities, all inside the Autodesk ecosystem, to elevate our Design & Make platform’s capabilities in this space.
InfoDrainage includes functionalities like flexible reporting, which enables users to create, templatize, and customize drainage reports for all projects. Additionally, the software’s integration with Civil 3D through a convenient toolbar creates an impressive round-tripping experience from design to hydraulic analysis and back, all with responsive design changes from each tool. With FHWA culvert analysis, cloud simulation, sustainable drainage systems (SuDs), and clash detection, InfoDrainage empowers you to design more sustainable drainage systems.
Last fall, we also rolled out new AI flood mapping capabilities through the Machine Learning Deluge Tool, inside of InfoDrainage, powered by Autodesk AI. InfoDrainage is Autodesk’s vision for the future of drainage design, and we remain committed to enabling you with powerful tools like it to solve the drainage design challenges of tomorrow, today.
