InfoWater Pro 2025.4 brings map themes and performance improvements

2 min read

InfoWater Pro 2025.4 is here, bringing Map Themes to replace the Map Display interface as well as some speed and UI improvements to make your hydraulic modeling work more efficient.

New Map Themes replace Map Display

One thing we always hear from users of InfoWater Pro is how easy it is for them to visualize their system. Now, with Map Themes, you’re able to manage sub-themes for varying thematic map views of the system, giving you even greater customizability over information display in your model. This new workflow replaces the former Map Display window. Any Map Display objects you might have used from previous version models will be automatically updated to the newer Map Themes.

In the video below, you can see how flexible Map Themes are and how easy it is to switch back and forth between various themes.

Speed and UI improvements

New Map Themes are not the only improvements in InfoWater Pro 2025.4. We have also added faster scenario switching while using Query Set, the ability to join and remove layer tables from the ribbon, and more detailed demand reports with separate components. Let’s break down what each of these mean.

Faster scenario switching

InfoWater Pro now caches active facilities during scenario switching, which saves time in the modeling process. When the software detects a cache, a prompt will pop up to confirm that you’d like to use it. Having this information cached will save you time in scenario switching, but pop-ups will ensure that if you’ve added new pipes to the model or edited relevant fields, you can be reminded and re-run the simulation as needed.

Join and remove layer tables from the ribbon

You spoke, and we listened! Thanks to popular demand, we have now added the ability to join all Layer Tables and remove Layer Tables in the Ribbon for easier and quicker access. Both of these ribbon commands join InfoWater Pro modeling data and results to the core map layers for custom symbology and data sharing purposes. Additionally, these commands are also registered actions within ArcGIS Pro, so you can incorporate them into custom toolbars in the ribbon alongside other commands.

Detailed demand reports

You now have more data available to your when generating demand reports, allowing for even more granular and detailed reporting. When you have Leakage and/or Emitters enabled, they will be reported separately from the actual demand and combined through the Total Outflow. When you have these enabled, you’ll also have Required Demand and Unsatisfied Demand, which are Pressure-Dependent Demand results, included in Model Explorer, Report Manager, and Map Themes.

Update your app and start modeling

This latest release of InfoWater Pro will be one of the last for the 2025 version. Don’t miss this opportunity to update your app and utilize the latest in features we’ve released over the last year and make this release part of your everyday workflow:
