Istanbul, historically a vital trade hub connecting two continents, is emerging as a potential financial epicenter. At the heart of this transformation, and under the guidance of Kalyon Construction, is the Istanbul International Finance Center.
With the help of the Autodesk AEC Collection and Build software, Kalyon designed and managed this massive construction project, which includes office space, retail centers, residential areas, and a cultural center. Using Autodesk software to create highly detailed models of the project’s Ziraat Towers, Kalyon was also able to speed up the construction of the building’s facade by 25 percent.
En route to achieving LEED Platinum certification, Ziraat Towers required 1.5 million hours of planning, with 11,500 drawings and 25,000 presentations, all supported by Autodesk solutions. With its vast complexity and scope, this mega-project will offer financial and non-financial institutions seamless access to world markets.
