Cavalier invested in PowerShape and its automated electrode production tools to help grow the business whilst also minimizing unnecessary capital costs. The automation impacts every stage of the EDM process from initial electrode design, to machining the electrodes, inspecting the electrodes, then automating the EDM hardware on the shop-floor. This investment resulted in productivity gains, enabling costly outsourcing work to be pulled back in-house.
