Delete Standard Materials Macro for Revit 2025

THIS MACRO HAS BEEN CREATED FOR THIS SPECIFIC ISSUE, AND IF YOU DO NOT SEE A LARGE NUMBER OF MATERIALS SHARING AN ASSET, DO NOT INSTALL THIS MACRO.
To verify the issue, go to Manage > Materials > Standard and click the Appearance Tab (or Aussehen in German) to see how many materials share the Standard Asset.

Follow the instructions below to set up the Macro:

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Macros\####\Revit\AppHookup\DeleteStandardMaterials2025

Note: If any of the folders is missing in the path above, create manually the folder to get the same structure.

Before launching Revit, make sure that the following components are installed to be able to use Macro Manager:
- Download Visual Studio Code
- Download .NET SDK 8.0

To be able to use Macros make sure that the option "Enable application macros" is activated in "Revit/ File/ Options Menu/ Macros":
