Nested Generic Annotation not displayed in Detail Callout

Issue:

Users reported that when creating a detail callout in Revit, the generic annotations nested in certain families (e.g. Electrical switches) do not show up in the callout.
 

Status:

This incident is being investigated for a possible cause and resolution.

Workaround:

Create a Plan View callout instead of a Detail callout.
